Yup. Actually no complains on ICdrama so far. I only get up to 720p so far, not sure how you managed to get 1080p. I suspect Azdrama shares the same source as ICdrama. So if the source is down, both addons will be down.

Newbie question here (since I'm renovating my house):

The situation:
3-4 different TVs with different TV boxes (some not even able to install Kodi/apps), Apple TV, iPads, iPhones, Samsung tablet, Sonos wants to share one single NAS with every media on it. For those that can be done with wire, there will be Ethernet. If not, wireless for the portables.

1) What is the best way to do it? Plex or Kodi?
2) Some are suggesting Plex back-end and Kodi front-end, what does that mean?
3) Need to be used by older generation, must be plug-n-play.
4) Hopefully streaming, illegal or legal otherwise.
5) Hopefully streaming live won't tax on the NAS (not self-build, consumer product)

Since then, it auto updated, been good.

If the video is 1080p, u will get 1080p.

Hi, I strongly suggest that you read up on what a NAS device is capable of, its OS, etc before proceeding.. Particularly the limitations of your current NAS device. Summarily, a decently powered (read as processor's power) NAS setup + Plex/Kodi (Kodi preferred due to superior UI & potential transcoding issues that may arise from a low powered NAS device) should be no issue.

Plex backend - Kodi front-end simply means having a Plex server running in the background and serving connected & compatible devices. The Kodi front-end part, is using the KODI software installed on the connected device to access media from the Plex server.. This is a Kodi dedicated thread. Feel free to ask Kodi related questions..

Which addon did you all use to watch movie with all the below without buffering issues:

1. DTS / Dolby 5.1
2. 1080p and above

Or did you all actually save the movie to storage and play them later? I notice Exodus movies section only offers 1080p but not DTS or Dolby..

I managed to reinstall Azdrama using the right repo (DKnight) and it is working now. I was not aware that I was using the add on from CTHO which is no longer being updated

Normally i will be quasar for this option...
