Thanks man already have this installed, however it doesn't have HD channels like food network HD, discovery HD, nat geo HD etc etc.
*
I haven't come across free good HD like playersklub unless you go for paid service which they have working EPG. smile.gif

There's a paid service in garage sales which has what you need. It has 720p/1080p source.

Oh that one, I actually installed and my Icdrama went cuckoo... sweat.gif
No choice but to remove it and do fresh Kodi installation.

Lord_froz, do you mind to share with me just the add-on for Malaysia channels? notworthy.gif

Had a problem this week with my kodi and minix X8 H Plus. I could not switch on Kodi at all Everytime it comes on and goes off immediately. So i uninstalled and trued to reinstall using Kodi Complete setup app from Play store. (which i used previously). Everytim i  tird to load the Kodi 16 (as Kypton  cannot be used) I keep getting a message that there is a parse error and I am unable to set it up.

I tried downloading using a mirror APK site it works and after i use (Ares Build) to install Pulse it work but all the sources are LQ quality (cannot get HD/1080 sources). When i use VPN sometimes i get the HD sources but the speed it cut so tremendously that the show buffers.

Today i tried SPMC (16.x) also same issue low quality sources only appear.

Any assistance or advise appreciated.

I believed you have installed some addons that causes Kodi malfunction. What you can do is go to system>apps> removed kodi data & force stop. Kodi should able to work but all the addons will be wipe out.

If you wanted to install SPMC. is better to download SPMC from playstore or go to page 1 and download FTMC version which they have Kodi https search fixed.

This few day cant watch icdrama. When click episode error msg keep prompt out.
"icdrama Error - check the log for more information".

Anyone can help what happen?
*
NO problem here. check your icdrama version. If it's not v1.2.6. you need to update the apk.

Alternative is to use rss feed from fastdrama/HKfree.co. rss://myrss.nu/drama. you can also use RSS Media reader/player to watch the rss feed.

Works perfectly and nuch faster and ll 720/1080 links are back.

*
If I'm not wrong the SPMC you download from playstore is v16.4. The latest SPMC v16.6 min required is Android 5.0.

I won't use the subtitle download with Kodi or apk apps anymore. I'll download the subtitle manually next time. LOL

i was just thinking about that... is that safe?

if the srt or idx is infected, it will get to yr device when u play it, no?
*
Yes! because it's a SRT file that you place the files into the same vid folder. Just name the srt files as per the vid files name.

I used Pot-Player to test the subtitle synchronization and correct it using pot-player subtitle feature.

To check the srt file whether it has suspicious code you can used Notepad to open the file to check the details in the srt files.

Sure.. you can do that.. Except that most malicious code are obfuscated.. aka, hidden in plain sight.. biggrin.gif  Remember that each time you manually download and run a subtitle, never know if it's gonna be the last time your device is safe.. tongue.gif
*
You forgotten there are antivirus lar. LOL

I come across infected subtitle files before. The antivirus stop the download before i open it.

Ever wondered how many mobile devices out there run a decent Antivirus/malware software? Now, I remember all those who venture into the android box thread asking about a device for their parents or less techy friend/family...Millions of devices ripe for harvesting...Evil grin.gif Heck, most PCs are still running Norton or McAfee antivirus software... doh.gif  So yeah... Besides, even good ones only catch what they know.. If it ain't in the definitions update, it'll slip quietly by.. haha

Good for you though..You are on the right track..
*
Kodi and others media developers didn't find out the loop-hole before it was exposed either. Even with the latest patched. that doesn't mean there won't be another one. that's until someone find out. NO?

I don't trust Android platform or android anti virus because there is toooooooo many apk's that are not approve and so easy to find and install to any android devices. Not like apple store. Unless it is jailbroken.

Anyone realised that Exodus has been auto deleted from Kodi?

In Indigo addon it's also missing? Using Jarvis btw
*
Exodus in SPMC Jarvis no problem. Auto updated but opensubtitle is gone. Anyway I'll won't be using it anymore. 😂

17.3?
*
QUOTE
Sorry for this quick bump to v17.3 however we deemed it necessary. In the previous v17.2 we had a slight issue due to packaging certain binary add-ons like PVR, visualisation and Inputstream. Sadly we only uncovered this too late after release. Additionally on the older distros like Ubuntu 14.04 in combination with the available GCC 4.8 compiler an issue surfaced which we had to fix as well. This v17.3 release fixed both these issues and should be completely working again including the missing add-ons.

Fixes done in this release:

Fixed missing binary add-ons on release time
Fixed crash on older distros like Ubuntu 14.04 with GCC 4.8 compiler

Actually why people don't go to icdrama.se and play directly?

Why go through a 3rd party addon or rss feed? I know it's convenient but when broken come here complain share info 3 days not able to see any show... laugh.gif

The feed from shaolinseo links to hd something .se and not icdrama.se...Don't know where the addon links to...not curious enough to check...

icdrama.se

Select episode... wait 5s for close ad countdown (no ads were displayed, no pop up / under, nothing)... click play... that's it... very uneventful...

Got option but 720 looks more like 480...
*
Good to know. Nest time you can used this option if Kodi goes down. laugh.gif

Too bad I don't use Kodi, neither do I watch Canto & Kimchi...

There's few more sites you can just play directly from the browser...
*
I tried before. Most of them are full off ads and pop-up.

furthermore using a web-browser to watch is not user friendly to me not to mention it will be more difficult for my wife. biggrin.gif

Is there a problem using apps that are there and easy to access? LOL laugh.gif

I tried with phone...full of ads & pop-ups
I tried with box...no ads no pop-ups... strange to be honest

...but yes most of them are full of ads...just need to find one with HD & minimal non-intrusive ads... I'd tolerate one or two, afterall they are doing a free service to us...

I also agree browser is inconvenient...but when the addons & rss keep breaking...just saying there are alternatives if you can't wait
*
I think if the source down. even you try to watch from the web page might not be working. Yesterday I tried when icdrama addon down. The dramas in the web page also not working. smile.gif
