why need a seperate box for kodi?

why not get kodi into laptop/pc, and cast to tv for bigger screen?

Thanks Sherlock tongue.gif ... These are a few reasons.. Sure others have more..
*Not everyone has a portable laptop or desires to have it connected to the TV.
*PCs are generally bulky and a pain to move about, especially for those who have monitors and or office-ish space.
*Most (myself included) prefer having a dedicated media device permanently hooked up to the TV, for ease of usage by friends and family... Particularly when the laptop follows one to work, etc..
*Said media devices usually require much lower power consumption than a PC and prolongs the life of the more expensive PC HD/SSD.

Hey people,

I have recently tried Exodus, Velocity, Salts, Genesis addon for Kodi.

But most of the time they don't work. Any other ways i can watch HD english movies ?

I don't mind to install apk on my android box too.
*
Exodus is the best addon

I never had problem with exodus

yes, everyone who can afford to buy Kodi box has a laptop.

pc is not bulky if you have a laptop.

laptop power usage is very low.

so, lets start...

kodi box vs 'kodi laptop'

not necessarily.

i have 2 android boxes and 1 android tv.

plus 1 tablet, 1 pc.

but no laptop.

if u already have a laptop, can use it for kodi, fine.

to buy a new laptop for kodi... no, better buy a box - a lot cheaper, a lot more versatile, a lot more convenient.

basic laptop can't give hd audio, can't play bluray/bdmv.

Just came across this, anyone using?
Downloaded zip onto a USB.
Plug in USB into Tv box
Start KODI
Go to System
Go to settings
Go to add-on
Go to Install from Zip file
Go to thumb drive
See "plugin.video.oblivionStream" and click it
