I have interest in one the subsale property in klang valley area, I met several agent there, most of the agent told me the property is freehold but there are 1 agent told me is leasehold. The agent claimed that he has seen the SnP agreement and it stated leasehold..

Leasehold or freehold do affect my decision to buy the unit or not. I have some question here hopefully sifu here can help me to answer.

1. I looking for long term investment, how does leasehold will affect it?
2. How to check the property is freehold or leasehold? Can I check myself other than rely on what agent tell me (before i see the SnP myself)?
3. Is there any possible within the same apartment, there is certain block is leasehold and some are freehold?

The property name mutiara perdana locate in bandar sunway..

1. depending on the remaining years in the leasehold. Leasehold will affect mainly the selling price in the future. If rental yield is base on the demand in the area, not whether its freehold or leasehold.

2. to confirm u can request a photo snapshot of the particular page that states freehold or leasehold in the current owner's SPA.

3. not possible.

what's the name of the property?

if lease period near ending. it's kinda problem.

if better, can tell which property. name?

some are expert / pro. tell name only they know LH or FH
