
OMFG!! I can't believe there are lots of people who have been connected with Emerio had issues before. In my case, I am a terminated employee of Emerio, they terminated me and my friend. Know why? They "accidentally" read my personal email (that's what they told me), and they read this particular email for one of my colleague there in Emerio; they read all the bullshit they have been doing to me.
I was the only IT Helpdesk for Emerio, phonecalls and emails; 100 users internally, plus users who has been deployed to the clients, and there's 22 clients (companies) around Singapore, plus Emerio branches in 12 countries. I am not only an IT helpdesk but also a Procurement Officer, Purchasing, Quality for ISO documentations, sometimes even for the payments (Finance). After 6 months, I received a confirmation letter and my appraisal. But as days pass by, I realized that I am the only one who's working in our team. L1, and even L2 support... and the users started to get angry with me because of slow response. whew!

The Engineers always take 1.5hours lunch, 1.5 hours coffee break plus 1hour smoking. sheesssh!!!

And me? sometimes, I don't eat my lunch because i am overloaded.

I am very helpless during my stay there. I am the only Filipino in the team, i am woman and they gave all the workload to me.
So one day when i got pissed off, i emailed my chinese friend there, who happened to be in reception area. All the whining about the job, and my feeling of being a HELPLESSDESK.

Me and my friend shared the same feeling about all those INDIANS, they treat us like we have the easiest job in the company... as if like we're getting paid to serve and treat them like a king and a queen. DUH!!!!

(My friend in reception was also doing LOTS of STUFFS. eg, Admin, ALL the clerical works, even checking the attendance of all the employees, plus the "AUNTIE" (nanny is only in the morning) every afternoon and during some party, meetings and events.
They are all Arrogant, Racist. The support team has no System (process/ procedures) at all. When I got hired in Emerio, I did all the possible way to make the Process/Procedures for IT support, Purchasing, QA. They are very inconsiderate.
And as what Ive read from X Emerio Manager here, " Please think, think & re think before joining this company. " OK?
BTW, i registered here just to reply in this thread.

it is legal for a company to read all emails sent or received using the company's network. however, the basis of your firing can be contested if you are a confirmed staff. even if they accidentally read email of you ranting, they cannot fire you without proper warning letters. refer to your termination letter and check out the basis of your firing. if you have a strong case, forward this to the labour office and get your deserved compensation.
