I jz bought my wireless mighty mouse. Setting up with MBP is straight forward. Now i am "running" my cursor around with the mouse smile.gif

Everything looks perfect, especially the assign of clicking scrol button to expose desktop, a very useful feature when i need to have a quick access to desktop.

But i found that the left and right side button a bit hard to press, really test my strength haha!

Any wireless mighty mouse user out there mind to share his/her experience with the left/right side buttons?

Haha befor i forget, i came across a funny guy at the store when I bought my mouse earlier today. There's this guy walking in and wanted to check out the MB and asked the sales stuff "I wanted to check the MB, it runs Windows rite?"

Sales stuff : "Yea, runs both OSX andd Windows"

Guy : "I wanna buy the MB without OSX, can less the price of OSX?"

Sales stuff : "I am sorry as OSX is bundled together with the MB, we can't separate from the package"

Guy : "But i wanna run Windows only, i dont wanna run OSX. So i dont wanna pay extra for the OSX"

By this time hearing this i almost pengsan liao haha!

Sales stuff : "If this is the case maybe you can try others non MAC laptop instead of getting the mac laptop"

Guy : "Reason being is i like the design and the price of MB is more or less the same with normal laptop, so instead of buying normal laptop, i wanted a MB"

After this, i also cannot remember hw the conversation ended. But eventually the guy left the store.

I jz feel it's such a waste to buy a MAC and running only windows. OSX is such a wonderful OS and i cannot imagine there's this guy out there wanted to buy MB jz for the look. rclxub.gif

For me i would never think of turning back to windows as OSX does it more stable, faster and most of all more secure :-)

AGREE...y buy a MAC if u r not using the more stable OSX...if u really into design, can consider...SONYVAIO...

By the way, aren't the price of Windows XP more expensive??I dun think MAC come with WINDOWS XP ..................though. even if u uninstall that one, ustill need to get 1 copy of windows to run on ur machine....unless he is installing a pirated one!

neekun,
LoL..... I'm surprised the salesman had the patience to tolerate the whole entire conversation without uhm, giggling. Ah well, I definitely would've been dumbfounded....

Er.. Maybe i should go into a shop and say - hey, I need a pc so I can run iChat. I don't want whatever else that's gonna come with it.... rolleyes.gif

No No No!!! vmad.gif You people just *don't* understand. I *want* MB to show-off. I do *NOT* want OSX because I am Windows user so I don't want to pay for the OSX. Just give the MB to me with Windows. Ish, how many times must I repeat myself before I get someone to understand me?! rclxub.gif

hAHahahHAhahahahAHahhaha........ I'll tell the fella it'll cost him the same price even if he doesn't want OSX on it biggrin.gif .

macball,
The scenario should be like this.... I nak Ais Kacang tak mau Ais! laugh.gif

Yeah, agreed with you it's a bit pricey. Retail price here is RM289, though i got it for a few bucks discount, better than nothing haha!

The mouse is assembled in Malaysia as printed at the bottom of the mouse. I wonder which factory manufactures it? Maybe can get OEM frm them at cheap cheap price hehehe..

neekun,
I'll think 3x before I get the wired one so I guess it's gonna be difficult convincing me to get the wireless for now. Then again, even if I've got the moolah, there's no point since I don't even own a Mac! mad.gif

hahhaa..... really must meet this guy. Funny fellow. What he is asking is jsut ridiculous. hahaa..

besides he said the price of a MB is more or less the same as a normal laptop , n he likes it becoz of the design but refuses to pay abit more for the exclusive design. hehee.... not bad wei . it's like Buying a Mercedes & ask the seller to give him a proton engine instead of mercedes engine.

if i m the sales person , i sure pengsan on the spot.

If I had my way with a MB/MBP, I'll use the trackpad if I could but so far, I haven't been able to even accustom myself to using a touch pad and I'd been using a notebook for uhm, well almost a decade now?! doh.gif
