I've been aiming this product for very long2 time, it's dirt cheap just five ninety nine for small tub i found in over the counter pharmacy

,but the things that set me back frm buying this cream are the "creamy" looks that could make my hand so greasy, you knw how's M'sia climate this day....

and one moar thing it has no uva,uvb or spf thingys that could protect my skin from scorching Sun ......

It received very good review from European customer, but I'm not to sure if this cream were really work in Malaysian climate

Anyone could share their exp? does it work for day cream? can i use that as Face moisturizer?

Read the product labels, look for the ingredients. Learn & understand exactly are what you put on your skin. You want all natural & organic or don't mind some chemicals? Which chemical you'd declare its too toxic & which is still acceptable for you?

Just don't go putting all over, then when your face damaged beyond repair only start regretting.

Use it at night. Not for day use. Unless you're always exposed to the sun, this is not suitable. This product is very rich. I don't use Nivea brand but something similar. Redwin Vitamin E cream. Comes in a tub of 300g. I'd use it at night and my skin feels really smooth the next morning. But this type of cream based product is rich so I'd use one every few nights. Kinda like an overnight mask. smile.gif

Thanks for honest concern, it seems that the product label it as all over body creme, I think it's better to avoid application on face skin lol..... Who knew it will turn out bad and irreversible =,=

Yeah I was thinking to buy the largest tub , but I think it's better to give a try for smaller tube for suitability test

Uhhh I will skip any vitamin E product for my daycare regime, it's really thick, greasy and it take years before it absorb onto your skin..... But I will definitely save it for night time , I have Palmers cocoa butter for my body skin during night.....and this product really really good .... If you have a dark rough skin on your feet apply it during night, just in a week it will turn smooth....

I will try to find Redwin product in the market, and gv it try....

But for oily skin I don't think it's a good idea to layer vitamin E cream and make it night mask lol.... Else your face will become very oily when you wake up from sleep

I have vitamin E cream, mine absorbs pretty quick le lol. I guess it's that particular product that you used which gave you the bad impression on vitamin E. Vitamin E is really good for your skin, it's nutritious and help to neutralize free radicals (which damages your skin). A lot of skin repair creams would have some vitamin E in it one. So i think you shouldn't entirely erase vitamin e from your radar, maybe 1 day give other vitamin e creams a try.

The cocoa butter is a well known moisturizer, that's why it can remedy your rough dry skin, especially like crack heels or eczema etc. I use shea butter instead, it's a superior version of cocoa butter but less popular in Malaysia. If you have a chance give it a try, but learn how to pick the right shea butter first.

Once you learn which ingredient can do what, you'll be more comfortable trying out new products by reading their ingredient list. The product labels can claim the sun & the moon, it's all marketing only. But ingredient list is harder to bluff. So just read what the product is made off & you can roughly know what kinda outcome to expect already. If you see the product ingredient & can't even pronounce most of those ingredients scientific names.....better think thrice before using LOL. Look for products that contains ingredient that you want, then you won't go very wrong already lol.

Yea, that's the smell of real shea butter.

If smell is a concern to you, then you can try the refined one. Generally refined one has lesser healing ability, but as a moisturizer it's still the same. So depending on the purpose, if you need the healing ability....better go for the unrefined one.

I'm selling organic skin care, made with time tested & forgotten ingredients lol. That's why I go around telling people to understand the ingredients of the product they buy. When the people understands which ingredient really benefits them & which is just marketing gimmick, then there isn't that many options in Malaysia.

i agree not to buy something too dirt cheap. and the creme i am afraid is not suitable for our climate. i think it's more suitable for elderly than young people. i have once used a rich facial cream before and it caused my skin to have pimple and worse of all pimple near the eyes!! so... i would suggest to use water-based instead or any not rich cream.
