Welcome to all, kindly update me with any related information/update about Redmi Note 3.

Apparently, there's many of my collegues are using RN3 right now. I don't know that RN3 become that popular nowadays.

And my RN3 sometimes become crazy.. whole screen not responsive, recent app tab appear and disappear.. anyone facing such issue?

Yes, the thing is restart also not responding for few minutes during the screen craziness.

Hmm, maybe that's the reason. I thought got new update but no. Hope updates can fix the issue.

Sold my RN3 again. Borrow Note 3, waiting for Iphone SE..

I hope Xiaomi Malaysia will not do what they did to Mi3 back then. Afraid later they claim all RN3 sold out, no more sell.

been with 5.5" plus since Note 2, Note 4, Nexus 6, LG G4, RN3. somehow want to play with IpSE.
But afraid if I can't cope with 4" screen. Haha.
Maybe I should just jump to V10.

I've tested both (similar spec), for 3gb ram/32gb storage. Tested mate 8 at Celcom Bluecube till I satisfy with the performance, that time comparing side by side with my Mi3. And then decide to get Redmi Note 3 instead of Mate 8.

Why? RN3 got Mate 8's features like huge 4,000mah battery capacity, fingerprint sensor, 3gb ram, 32gb storage, dual hybrid slot for 2 sims or 1 sim/1microsd, IR blaster, non-plastic body.

RN3 can last whole day with normal usage without problem.

But for sub rm800 phone, you can't expect it will be a perfect phone. There are some bugs here and there.

So do Mate 8, not perfect either, but you will get good warranty cover, 1 to 1 exchange for faulty unit.

Yeah, but that's for my perspective. IMO, if you got cash for Mate 8, go for Mate 8. It won't perform better than SD820, but it will last longer for all task.

If you got the remote, you can always duplicate and share with others.

I don't think is there any way to fix that. I believe as long as the sensor is working fine, no argue about that.
Unless, Xiaomi did mention that so gap called defect.

It's good to be extra careful not to drop or spill any water at back. The risk for the water to go through the gap is high.

As long as you've scan the right remote to your devices, there should be no problem.
If your device did not appear in Zaza Remote, most likely you need to get physical remote and duplicate the IR button 1 by 1.
