sd meaning Snap Dragon correct ? vs the MediaTek version ? or referring to the newer launched Redmi 3 Pro ?
any differences with the MIUI compared to the one installed if purchase from mi.com/my ?
Thanks
As long as you're getting the snapdragon variant, you'll be fine as MIUI Global Rom only available for Snapdragon only as of now. Once u flash your device to the GlobalRom, there is not differences with those purchased from mi.com/my except for the warranty coverage.
If you're getting mediatek, you'll be stuck with the MIUI China rom which doesn't come with Google apps by default. But can be added later easily.

Guys, what kind of rom are you all using?
I had just tried
Xiaomi.eu MIUI7 v7.2.5 Root+ MultiLang+ Xposed+ ViperAtmos+ Mods
, but waze keeps on crashing.
Anyone know how to solve this issue?
Or could you all recommend some nice version which have no mi store? Thank you
Using MIUI8 ChinaDev ROM (6.6.17)
So far my experience with it quite positive. Although it came preinstalled with those China apps, it can be easily uninstalled.
Try upgrading to the latest Xiaomi.eu rom which is based on MIUI8 -
