I lost all forms of mobile connection after updating manually to 7.2.5 using an ota file posted by a member here. Only able to use wifi now.

does factory reset removes everything? any ways to just restore system settings?

Factory reset now working again but have to install and setup everything again.Backup doesn't seem to work.. all cannot backup.

Happens before few times. this is due to proximity sensor malfunctioning. You have to unlock by pressing power button then fingerprint.

Usually restart the phone and the proximity sensor works again when tested in the CIT.

I usually only have 1gb free.. yup interested too on the tricks to make more free ram. Anyway not too worried about it seems ram is supposed to be used.. just not happy that MIUI is heavy on RAM.

Received redmi note 3 from ITRONIC.

It's the snapdragon version.
ROM is 7.1.9 (China Version) probably need to do some flashing later.

Phone from ITRONIC so far looks okay.. The same as the one I bought Malaysian set. Smaller box, china adapter.

Rom seems to be untouched too but untouched China ROM.

Will only have time to flash tonight.

Flashed to latest Global Rom.

Problem is that the phone is TD-LTE. I have already flashed to global rom so I expect our network will work but somehow stuck with just Edge Signal. Weird

Factory reset and now it's detecting 4G. Maybe it's important to put the SIM in when the phone is resetted so the phone can set things up.

Some bands of DIGI and Celcom are restricted though when searching for available networks

Maybe you can try to use the latest MiFlash... This is what I used.

Are you the admin user of the computer? Check your privileges or try using a different computer. it seems that from the log there is problem to access the files.
