max is 6-7 hours of SOT on 3g@4g mode while 7-8 on wifi. x cukup for my wife she get too used by note 2 plus zerolemon batery.. 12 hours on-wards with everything on (3g mode)

Hi, just got mine 32GB version from satugadget last week. Migrated from lumia920. SO far all the functionality that I got from default apps in window mobile also can get from this RN3 except for app to detect song name. That one win mo got build into the system.

ms office get full functionality as well. With this who need windows mobile

Does RN3 support QuickCharge? Which version?

I heard some people say yes, it is supported. Some people say no, SnapDragon 650 support it but Xiaomi disabled the function.

I received rn3 last month and found out the wifi is not working.  When I sent it for warranty,  they told me to wait for 3 week before I can get the replacement.  Im asking if I can get 1 to 1 warranty but they told no and asked me to wait until they fixed it. May i know if anybody experiencing the same issue

Honesly speaking, most of the phones that are available now is not 100% problem free. Most are going through trial and error feedback from the customers. Compare to older days, you ever see anyone complaining phone problem on Nokia 3310?

The pattern of technology has changed. There are too many factors that could contribute to a malfunction device. The standard for a phone to pass the test seem lower compare to older days. Customer has to do the testing for the manufacturer and a company that gives constant update on software is needed.
Well I would say is really depending on personal usage. Apple has its way to maintain the device performance standard for at least 2-3 years. Even Iphone 5 is still usable and able to process better compare to relatively cheaper android phones that are available in the market.

As Android is very much suitable for people who wants to develop and explore on their own, Apple is more leaning towards the "pay and we do it all for you" device to their targeted audience.

Not a fanboi or whatsoever, just merely expressing what I think. Don't bash me for it.

Incase someone didn't realize, or wanted to flash rom for mtk or sd, look at their codename.

Hmm but Ive already went thru mi mover, and my RN3 is an almost exact copy of the Mi3. It's got all my old notes and apps. Kind of happy with that for now, except the lag! For e.g i open whatsapp, then when i click a name to chat, there will be about 2-3 secs lag before i enter the chatroom. Quite a long delay i think!

For now tak berani nak factory reset yet la. haha

Downloaded camera fv5 pro apk from internet

Recently i'd upgrade my phone from 7.0.1.8 to 7.2.5.0, but i found that my battery drain much faster than old one, so how can i downgrade it ? I tried use SPFLASH 5.16 but it always show that i have failed install MTK6XXX when i pressVOLUME DOWN and POWER
Noted: i have already installed MTK driver

Here is the tricks.

1. After you done the steps as the guide.
2. Then "Download Agent" and locate "DA_SWSEC.bin"
3. Then "Scatter loading" button and locate the "MT6795_Android_scatter"
4A. Tick ALL (if stock ROM) OR
4B. UN-Tick Preloaded (if MIUI.eu ROM) *** WARNING: If you forget to untick the Preloaded, you will bricked it
5. You have to press Download button right?
6. Shut off your phone and wait 5~10seconds (to ensure fully turn off)
7. And then "PRESS" & "HOLD" Down Volume Button (DO NOT Release it)
8. Plug and connect the USB to your PC
9. Once you see the bar on the SP Tools turn RED color
10. Then you only release your Volume Down Button.
11. If doesn't working, repeat Steps 3 onward. (Tips: If it boot into FAST Boot, mean you have to repeat Steps 3. Because when the Red Bar detected, the Phone are main Black Screen)

PS. I try the above method more than 2hours only figure it out how does the method works. Because the tutorial didn't explain clearly if didn't work, we have to keep repeat. at first, I thought I was USB faulty or Drivers not working. LOL

afaik, for SD/Pro. to flash miui eu you'll need to unlock bootloader (stated at their forum).

for mtk, someone here mentioning can use the sp flash tool (this I can't say can or not, no need unlock) since I don't own the mtk version of redmi note 3.

might be mtk set instead of sd set based on price
