I am prompted to download 7.2.5.0, but will not do so until fellow users have given the green light to go ahead. The current 7.2.3.0 serves me excellently for now... except for the camera, but I doubt 7.2.5.0 improves that.

How I do turn off and on the phone by schedule? I've seen that option somewhere but can't find it again...

Already update mine this evening. Didnt notice improvement yet. Just the add on on the camera function .

U may check at security > battery

Btw, congrats on the new house

Any 3rd party camera to recommend? I believe RN3 camera weakness is more of software...

Ah got it.
Settings > Additional settings > Battery > Powah

What new house?

What casings are you guys using? I'm currently using cheap RM10 thin transparent TPU casing. It protects from scratches, but not likely bumps and (god forbid) falls. Thinking of something more protective, like maybe Mercury Jelly case, or Spigen Neo Hybrid, or Ringke Fusion, or whatever.

Anyone using nice and cheap casings? OEM also can.

How to disable it? Native app setting machiem mana?
*
Settings > Installed apps > select an app then disable button at the bottom.

Once disabled, it will not show or run in the phone, just like uninstalled.

Redmi Note 3 far better than huawei 5x, thats why its HOT CAKES now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*
Far better also no use if there is no stock. Correct?

I also considered 5X, which wins in:
Dedicated memory card slot
Design feels more premium
EMUI is cleaner than MIUI
One-to-one replacement for first 6 months
Camera slightly better

Honestly, I last saw her phone in early March and I don't recall seeing that too, then I went for vacation and didn't come back home until today. She showed me and sought for my help to disable it. laugh.gif I don't know how to help her. laugh.gif
*
You're right. Mine also didnt' have that until recently. Cant' remember what I did. Maybe it came with 7.2.5.0? Anyone on the older firmware can check if that music player thing is showing?

I turned off 'Automatic date & time' and 'Automatic time zone'. I set my date to 2020 for dev testing purposes. A few seconds later, date resets back to 2016. How do I make it stay at 2020?

However only Xiaomi phone:-

1. Update ROM like Nexus phone
2. Microsd+sd650+32gb+3gb+fingerprint
3. Cheap

No other manufacturer come close
*
4. 4000mAh

QUOTE(vanpersie91 @ May 21 2016, 08:03 PM)
Tbh i think fingerprint sensor apart from unlock phone purpose...not much use of it anyway.

But for others such as microsd + 32gb internal + 3gb ram + snapdragon 650, bit hard la to get with 800+ price range.

Most of model phones with such specs only available with mediatek proc..
*
Fingerprint scanner is good for unlocking phone and apps without third-party app. Imagine unlocking phone need pattern code, then read Whatsapp need another level of unlock. Once used to the fingerprint scanner, phones without it look so primitive...

Wonder why only China phones have this always-on scanner, like Mi and Huawei. Apple and Samsung scanners need to press home button... slower and more wear and tear... I don't like...
