Want to get this phone but this phone is seriously out of stock.
Then, those selling AP set selling at same or more expensive price than ori set, just feel not worth it.
Still scare of AP set thought.

Think to forget this phone.
Closest choice maybe is Vivo V3Max, or direct getting Xiaomi Mi5, which also will be no stock.

Can consider also P9 lite
*
Sorry, won't consider P9 Lite, as I'm considered heavy gamer too.
Huawei's phone always stingy on their graphic chip, except maybe their high end phone like Mate 8, real P9, or Mate S, which using higher end graphic chip, but still inferior to SD810/SD820 Adreno 430 and Adreno 530.
That's why I only aim for SD650/SD652 for their high performance Adreno 510 graphic chip, not just blindly buy phone for their branding, camera quality and build quality.
That's why Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Vivo V3Max comes in mind.

The only problem is with AP warranty la.
So, if bought from Gemfive, the seller shop at KL, need send back to KL shop if phone got any problem?
Because I'm not living at KL.

Now more interested in Xiaomi Mi Max rather than this Note 3 Pro.

based on my experience, China rom are without Google Play.
as google being blocked at China, so normally they have their own 3rd party store
and so far as i know, latest China version MIUI are damn annoying, lots of ads prompt
I do saw some china website teaching ppl to stop the annoying ads prompt by flashing the China rom to global rom
Oh not staying at KL, then that make problem
Mi 5 at least gonna start selling soon
all i can say is good luck to u  smile.gif

Then need forummer here sharing experience if buying AP outside KL. So postage my phone back to them is ok if got problem?

Touch wood la, let say max in one year 3 times broken need repair without cost, I need to pay for postage fee only, which still acceptable for me.

Mind if forummer help sharing those AP seller's contact for me to ask them.

Just tried dwling NBA 2k16, Redmi note 3 always crash when playing a game zzz

Maybe it is because of the compatibility issue with Adreno 510.
Only a few phones come with this graphic chip.
Normally, game's compatibility tied more on the graphic chip and processor rather than the Android OS itself.

Other comparable phone would be Vivo V3Max and Samsung Galaxy A9 with SD652/Adreno 510 chip.

But my Redmi Note 3 pro for Snapdragon has Hexa-core Max 1.8ghz with 3 ram..No way it should crash that easily thou..However other games like COC/CR works fine now~
*
Nope, it is not regarding how powerful the chipset, it has to be compatible too.
Because I own many types of phone before with different processor and graphic chip, those game or apps actually differ in the download on Playstore, even though they are the same game.

There are download for Snapdragon 800 series, Snapdragon 400/600 series and Snapdragon 650 series, your Playstore will auto let you download the compatible one.
Then, downloads for Samsung's Exynos processor, Mediatek MTK processor, Intel Atom processor and Huawei's Kirin processor are also quite different.
Then, there is a rare version for Nvidia Tegra processor.

Well, maybe the NBA2K16 next update will sort out this issue that add compatibility to SD650/Adreno510 chipset.
I think this is of the apps issue, rather than the processor and MIUI issue.

Flash to global rom then it will become same as local MY Mi set already
*
Yes, I also think the same.
I have been to China earlier this year, and has go to their local shop ask for the Redmi Note 3 Pro.
There is 2 variant of Redmi Note 3 Pro with SD650, one variant only support TDD-LTE for China, another variant support both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE network, the so called global version, also sold in China.
The global version is slightly more expensive, but it guarantee the network compatibility globally.

This proven more where I bring my Malaysia 4G local phone to China, I only can get E (Edge) signal, even I slot in their 4G sim card.
Simply many of our phone only support FDD-LTE, not both.

Thanks anyway, but the cheapest selling Mi Max is AZMMOBILE, which cannot get any contact by searching Google.
I may ask ITRONICMOBILE on how their warranty works.

I see I see..Well thats a bummer since an old Samsung galaxy 4 can play it without crashing while Note3 couldnt get it to run during ingame..But yeah maybe its the game problem compatibility too so its too soon to judge based on the phone performance.

Yes, this is very true.
I take a game as example: Need For Speed No Limits
When this game is released 9 month ago on Android platform, the games has so many bugs.
This game keep crashing, and the graphic is pure mediocre.
UI is not smooth and laggy, even on the OPPO Find 7, this game just lag as hell, graphic not smooth.

Then, months after months, it comes up with many major bug fix and upgrade, improving game graphic, and improve games compatibility to reduce the crash.

Now, with it's latest update, this game just feel much smoother and faster than before, with better graphics quality, then finally, zero crash.

So, when an apps crash, it doesn't always means is the phone issue, it can be much related to the bugs from the apps itself.
But one thing for sure, to enjoy high end graphic games, you must need a high end processor and graphic chip as a base requirement for the game to shine.

Those explanation is much similar to computer hardware.
The more powerful the processor and the graphic card, the more detail and smooth the graphic it can generate.
Then, if something crash, update graphic card driver, game patch or OS for solving the compatibility issue.
