Hye guys. you proud owner of p990i. how are you n ur phones?..

well for me, i just bought me a AP set 990i yesterday. It supposed to be an Orange set but somehow i think the sales guy change the firmware to so hong kong edition, a lot of chinese character in software and games..and another thing my internal memory is 48 mb.

so this morning i went to sony website and update to a new fw. even though the site said that my fw is new oredi, but still do it la. i already do the necessary backup.

so guess wat,i got my orange version of p990i. the layout is kinda nice and my internal memory suddenly becomes 60mb..wonder why..

and im still searching any software that is similar to smart movie.you know, can play xivd avi in ur handphone...

so..as promised, this is my layout..do any of u guys know how to change to another kind of layout? i mean the normal one?

I don't whether u bought AP set or not. For me, i bought an AP Orange set. But somehow the language is in chinese and UK english. Make me suspect the seller might change the mobo. So what i did was i go to seus. Eventhough it said that my phone have the latest sw i just re install it anyway and knoe what..i got my self an orange fw..kinda cool though..

Ha ha..its not some specific term. It's an AP set. And it's from company called Orange, just like some other phone from different telco company. Like Vodafone maybe

laggy yes, and sometimes this phone just restart on itself.haiya...and it said to improve performance. I suspect it can't release the ram. i heard swiss manager can do it, i mean release some un use ram..

and the battery even mine is bst-33.

PS3 is 2.2k in sg wang already man..u must search the place first..and some more XB360 have been in the market for a year already, so the developer have experience in building games using that hardware, for me i better wait for another half a year then decide. Just my two cents before u bought XB360 la..

If u have enough money than go for ori la, even ori is like 2.5k(can search in lyn) now, nearly 3k in klcc. If getting ori, service wise its easy lar.

mine one is AP orange set la,a very proud owner some more..haha..the only difference is my menu layout from Ori malaysia one.unique la (for me). i never seen any vodafone site. For flashing you can go to sonyericsson website and search for software update. do as exactly in the instruction and you'll be fine la. i already have a friend who brick his p990i (bugger)..

depends on ur budget also la. thats my opinion la

for me if u want to flash ur phone just go to SEUS la..no need to go to the shop, always do backup incase u install the wrong software..

I dont know whether got quickshare or not, if im not mistaken, the phone that labeled quickshare is k750i. Mine one labeled (Orange logo+p990i)

Backup all ur data first, because u sure will lose ur data after reflashing
