Transitions option found in control panel, device. Very useful, no need to play the demo video everytime when need the phone to perform faster. My P990 work stable and fast for now .

And, all the software before my master reset last time back oledi .

Another improvement is, the video mode dont have the 10 sec lagging anymore .

getting real busy with works and camera~ everything fine here except time are not enough for me.

this firmware is the best i every use. as u know i am very much a very very heavy data user. the built in browser always have problem to me when i go in very heavy pictures site. it always restart my browser due to lack of memory . this update bring me more space on certain webt site.

and yes.. it help P990i. tested the P990i and W950i new firmware too which bring good result as well.. no worries. it's safe to upload the new firmware.

@unknowndevices, P990's wifi seems fine for me, been using it frequently.

AED is a good one - Advanced English Dictionary if I'm not mistaken with its full name.

Hey guys, i got some questions regarding my M600i. Current firmware is R4A002

I cant seem to to receive the GPRS and MMS settings from Digi. After i request for the settings online, i get a message alert tone but nothing else. It doesnt request for a password or anything. I've also tried requesting the settings from sonyericsson's website. BUT, i do get a request pin window after i get a delivery report.

This also happens if i use the *126# and *128# network command to request for my Digi prepaid balance. I dun get anything until after i send a sms and i get a delivery report. I only can read it after i close the delivery report window.

Has this happen to any of u ppl? Is it a firmware problem? Thanks!

i believe u bought a AP set which is locked to some telco not belong here. u need to customized it back to a lock free version.

seems that the latest firmware really fixed mostly the previous problems...

went to KLCC just...for PC Fair actually,then stopped by at SE booth...
SE is offering Ori-set p990i at only rm2,299 with bluetooth earphone and lots of freegifts...
did anyone checked it at KLCC,concourse level...but the roadshow at KLCC only last till today(sunday)...don't know if they would be doing it somewhere else...

bdl is selling rm2190 for p990i now... haiz actually want to get n95 1... but heard about its poor built quality and poor battery life... maybe will consider p990i... thats y i ask users here whether p990i is good or bad...

About the battery, i heard many ppl in their review said that it had a very poor batery life. But in my case, i cant feel, i think that the ori battery is very strong compare to my previous Moto Mpx3, Eten M500, and O2 atom. At least, playing songs (with earphone), can last for 1 day long and the battery indicator still at the center only. And, i usually charge the phone once every 2 days. when the battery is stil about 20-30%.

I must again praised the new firmware, it is so good and no lagging anymore, even opening those java aplication (which need about 1/2 min in my old NK3660, now only less than 10 sec. And i have put in a lot of application into it (about 15 app, 10 high quality games, including the brother in arms) and no lagging appears at all.

I am using World generic 2 (as indicated by the seus update software) . What is the difference with others ?

if as you stated the phone should be more stable compared to the previous one...

yups...my friend also told...the longest the phone can last two days for normal usage...
that one can consider good already as compared to any phone that have the specs and applications usage...

have you checked the twin simcard at lowyat?...
last time(last year),saw it in lowyat...but can't remember which shop...

Since some of you are asking about the quality of the camera and video, i will post some of my best shot here. Frankly speaking, i havent use such a high resolution camera phone before, it really shocks me when i take the photo at the 1st time, especially the one with the newspaper. The image quality is superb and according to the review post on gsmarena.com, it uses the same camera and lens as the K750. For me , and some of my fren (I show them the pics), the 1st impression of them is very shock, and the following question is "How many MP ??". Based on this, i guess you catch what i mean already.

Yup, the battery is more than enough for me, cause last time (Mpx3, M500, atom), i use to charge the phone everyday and if in heavy usage, charge it every 4-5 hours. Almost 2 years havent been to lyp lor, my place is in kota kinabalu sabah. . Lyn and lelong enough to suit my desire of high tech product already. . Can someone help to check the price ?
