Do you experience battery life shortage with 3G on? It seems 3G drains the P990i's battery very fast.
No demand perhaps? The P990i units overseas have dropped a lot in pricing (like 300+ USD), the reason why AP sets in Malaysia are priced similar to that as well.
For pouches, you guys can use the P900 pouch.
Fits nicely on my P990i (w/ keypad attached). If you are using w/o keypad, it fits even better. Just becareful to place the front part of the phone away from the pouch's magnet as it will affect it somewhat (not sure affecting the LCD or what, as the backlight on my P990i turns on automatically if I put the front part near the magnet).
If you can get the BST-34 battery, please let us know here how much you bought it and where you bought it from. I'm interested to buy it too. Thanks.

but.. what i read on previous pages..
if the p990i come w/ HK/TW firmware..
SEUS will recognize it as HK/TW firmware and told them there is currently no update.
for my phone... p990i UK firmware..@ World Generic 2 (R9F) it updated to the new firmware (R9G)..

so i think..
u have to when to SE service centre.. and ask them to flash to Word Generic 2 firmware..
coz when using SEUS.. they never give any option to choose what firmware to upgrade to.

Woot! manage to flash the phone to world generic for free. Put make sure use a dead sim-card while flashing instead of your original sim card. Cause it will make that sim card dead.

Regarding the firmware, its possible cause many ppl did it before but some ppl brick their P990i. I just kill my Old sim card, not sure why.
That link i provided do provide. 2 firmware. One is World generic 1 and another one is Sg firmware (English and Chinese). People usually get mistaken "Byte vs kilobytes" We are looking for Byte File not Kilobytes. One 310b another around 425b. Need to force-update 3 time with SEUS. For the Last time of SUES update, i delete the previous update and let it download again and reupdate to be safe.

Happy trying. Its not really that hard but just follow the step properly.

Force update merely update again with the latest SEUS. We need to update the process 3 time. First time before change CDA to get the update file on our Sonyericsson folder. Second time is after replacing CDA file. After that we see two CDA code after "on" phone and do necessary step. The final update with a Clean Update from SEUS (re download the update again)
