i cant access English keyboard and handwriting... damn...

I'm also having tons of application errors after upgrading the firmware on Generic Singapore. Firstly, not all applications I backup can be restored, thus I have to reinstall the programs. But when I reinstall them, it kept saying there are corrupted data.

Any ideas?

just to let you know its two different class of phone though both have very similar capabilities..

the p990 is a business phone while the n95 is a multimedia phone..

any of u have problems with the magnets on your pouches??

my P990i seems to react when there is magnet near the screen...

the screen lights up (blank white screen), then goes back to the normal screen....and it continues like that until about 5 minutes, then it dims and eventualy goes off....

it's the magnet from the pouch i think....

oh yeah, i am using an original p910i pouch...heheh....fits nicely...just that the screen acts up only......

Yea well both phones are in differet leagues. Was considering either one of the two but then the n95 doesnt really fit my budget.... and several hardware problems really put me off with it. But no matter bout that. Back to my question. Will i be sattisfied if i bought the P990 as a satisfactory jukebox (just sattisfactory, doesnt need to be great like the N91) and to log on to the net once in a while?

Oh thanks for the tip aruja. Haha, dont worry. Aint looking at the N91 for now. Been using series 60 devices for the past 3 years. Already own a windows device too. So i gues its time to move on to UIQ for a change. Oh, another question. Is there a way to hard reset the P990 just like reformating a series 60 device using *#7370# ?

when i use to use it without the keypad, i still use the touchscreen to put it to silent mode..

i would like to know the shortcut too..

bottom left look for the icon which looks like ^..click on it then go volume>silent mode
