Its ok, everybody has to go through it at some point. There might be a learning curve but trust me its worth it. You wont go back. Plus with the new dota reborn. Even if you have a bad pc, its still somewhat playable. 

My housemate is still playing dota 1, ask them play D2, they say they don't want learn again.

1) smoke deceit can hide heros from zeus ulti?
No I don't think so.

2)smoke deceit is so cheap why do people don't use it more often?
It has 11 minutes cool down, very powerful item but hardly used properly especially in 2k pub games.

3) is huskar imba? it definitely is the way I see it. his ulti has low cooldown, and he hits like a truck. and your hp will drop faster than his.
Don't use nukers against him, cause he has strong magic resist (he's a magical tanker). But he's weak to raw physical dps heroes like WR, Ursa, Spectre, PA etc.

4) is centaur shit now ? the ulti has changed , no more strength gain.
He's a good tanker, and ulti helpful for team.

5)how can I debuff ursa other than diffusal blade?
Try ghost scepter yourself or Heaven Halberd's disarm or any other sort of disable. If you insist on debuff via purge, buy Helm of Dominator & dominate that Satyr NC, it has purge skill.

6)are some heros more power than others? I realized that some heros get picked over and over and some heros never get picked (hot pick : PA, ursa, invoker, Legion fucking commander, huskar, pudge, mirana, drow ranger, slark. And heros that never get picked like Doom, winter wrymn, goblin shredder, lich) Do these hero get picked less because they are just underpowered?
Those you've mentioned frequently picked a typical pub stompers hero. No they're not overpowered, my Bara can eat PA for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner & supper...especially those 2k pinoy farmer PA cause PA is weak to magic. For Legion Commander, heroes like Dazzle, Pugna or OD can easily counter him, just stop feeding LC until he gains imba damage. Invoker yes, was kinda overpowered until heavily nerfed recently.

Those you mentioned never get picked are generally supporters that many 2k players can't play it well. Winter Wyvern was once a really overpowered supporter.


7) why is the opposition team always so imba?
Try to play heroes that reach its peak early like Huskar or Clinkz or Bara & start steam rolling your enemies early.

8)I've not seen anyone buying guinsoo... that item gone ?
Changed name to Sycthe of Vyse now, like how Buriz is changed to Daedalus.

9) what is the purpose of planting tree from ironwood branch?
It heals better when you use tango on it. Also I've seen WR use it to land a tree shackles.

im a AI player, dota 2 has limited AI heroes. Which makes me think of playing dota 1 back...not sure why cant dota 2 developer extend all heroes in AI selection. aaiiii
