Hi, after hours of trying to connect my Maxis Fibre internet to a TP-link Archer C2600... I finally found a solution! So I thought I would share the same with this forum in hopes it could help other people who are experiencing the same problem.

I'm posting this because most of the articles I read either assume that your router has a Maxis configuration without getting into the details of what that configuration is. In my case, the router did not have a Maxis Fibre configuration script, so I had to manually enter the IPTV settings. (on a side note: these settings might work for other routers as well)

Please make sure you have your Maxis Fibre internet username and password before trying to connect the router (you can obtain this by calling Maxis)

Installation steps specific to TP-Link Archer C2600
1. Login to your router's admin panel

2. Click on Advanced > Network > IPTV
Click on the 'Enable IPTV' checkbox
Input these custom settings:
Internet VLAN ID: 11 | Priority: 1
IP-Phone VLAN ID: 400 | Priority: 2
IPTV VLAN ID: 17 | Priority: 3
Click Save

3. Click on Advanced > Network > Internet
Internet Connection Type: PPPoE
Username: [maxis fibre username]
Password: [maxi fibre password]
Click Save

Wait about 1-2 mins for the router to connect and you should be all set!

I think that's for tm fiber( unfi area)while the vlan that the ts provide is for maxis fiber(maxis area)

@SEP910 - are you able to use the phone on LAN4 and are you also able to access the internet on LAN1, since it is for IPTV?

Please advise.

@SEP10 - LAN 1 Astro IPTV is working fine? Did you check on the astro decoder under setting... check on if multicast is ON? check on the internet connection too.

Another test: Power OFF yr router, and restart. See if the IPTV still workable?

Understand that astro iptv needs internet and also multicast to operate.

the password is your installation password. U can only get it from maxis and cannot change the password. This password is not your wifi password.
