HELP ME...PROBLEM WITH MY JVC DV200

BOUGHT IT 3 YEARS AGO AT RM3000 NO WARRANTY !

...NOW THE PROBLEM IS THE LCD

CANNOT OPEN THE LCD[I] SAMPAI HABIS...ONLY HALF..IF HABIS IT WILL SUDDENLY LIKE TV WITHOUT CHANNEL...zzzz (dont know how to said) or turn black[/i]

ALREADY ASK THE TECHNICIAN...AND HE SAID BETTER TAKE IT TO JVC SERVICE CENTER AT TAMAN MALURI, CHERAS OR SHAH ALAM GLENMARIE..

SO WANT TO KNOW:

1. WHAT ACTUALLY THE PROBLEM OF THIS STUFF? THE CONNECTION?
2. COST IF I SEND IT TO SERVICE CENTER JVC
3. OTHER ALTERNATIVE RATHER THAN SEND TO SERVICE CENTER
4. WHO CAN FIX IT?

3 yrs old, not worth repairing, sell cheap cheap then buy a new one, now new model very small and not too expensive.

oh the swivel lcd, sound like connection/wiring kind of problem, should not cost too much.

the price around??

my guess is should be less than rm100.
send back to jvc for a quote la.

yeah dude, i mean, why wait for an answer here when you can just CALL the service centre, or send it there, and ASK for a quotation straight from them...... ?????????????????

and did you bought it WITHOUT warranty, or is the warranty expired? if it's without warranty, then... padan muka.

sound like problem on cable / wiring between LCD and body..just like those flip mobile phone screen issue ..
u can contact JVC service center check this out before send over. they might able to provide some basic info

Anyways, I take it you haven't call them up yet, have you?

I'd sent my JVC unit to the Maluri centre before & they repair it for less then RM200.

My problem was "Open Lens Cap" message appeared event the lens cap was detached.

One thing to remember, always bargain with them.

how to bargain dude?
