From what little I read, Rio was a prankster and joker. That said, he could teach the kids a few things about being a good defender, for sure. Positioning, timing tackles, etc.. one thing about him is he always had good sense when to tackle and how to avoid cards

Giggs was the silent killer type. Look at his press conference last time when he was manager for 3-4 games. Would not think of him as laid back sort, but he would probably be less vocal than Rio. He should go out and be a manager though. U19/21 at this point would be a step back after 2 years as assistant manager.
