It's a non issue created by the paper who's bored waiting for euro16 to start. JM had no such issue when he moved to Madrid & Inter.

He's such a tease. He neither confirm nor deny. But that offer from China is tempting.

when LVG first came I was quite happy... but after another horrendous ride after moyes.... not much confidence in any manager... yeah... we don't have much choices in term world class coaches now.... most of them already taken.... just the final performance of Mou in Chelsea make me doubted him a little....  smile.gif  smile.gif

Well, for £15 million a year, he'd better perform.

I still say he might reinvent himself with Utd. Time will tell.

I think it's time we forget about Giggs. Yes, of coz he will remain a legend as a PLAYER but his managing capability is unproven. Sure most of us have that romantic feeling that he could turn out to be the next Pep but truth is, in 3 seasons as the assistant he has failed to make an impression. And as we all know, even great assistants like Kidd & Maclaren turned out to be disaster when they become the manager.

Let Giggs learn his trade elsewhere or return to the Utd youth team.

New season couldnt come sooner! Going to watch the first friendly game with much intent.

I wouldn't read too much into pre-season friendlies. Remember LVG beating both Madrid & Barca in friendlies?

I guess Jose's priority number 1 would be a defensive midfielder. I don't think he'll fancy Carrick or Schweinsteiger. He may need to look real hard at Schneiderlin.

Don't worry. Tofu legs will be injured again. Perhaps if he stop the idiotic goal celebration, his luck would change. Hodgson has no balls by ignoring Drinkwater. But then again he did include Rashford. Oh well...I just hope our boy would get some game time considering England will most likely be knocked out in the later round.

If we were to believe all these rumours, Utd would effectively have the world's best XI already. Pftttt...

Will he be United's first African defender? United never had much luck with players from Africa or Sourh America.

QUOTE
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been implicated in a Spanish rape case by a protected witness in a Spanish court case, along with his former Spain Under-21 teammate Iker Muniain.

El Diario report that the witness was giving evidence in the investigation against Ignacio Fernandez Allende (aka Torbe), jailed since last April on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault, child pornography, related to prostitution, extortion and money laundering.

The unnamed witness claims that she was taken to a hotel and assaulted by two footballers - Muniain and an unnamed player - after Torbe had forced her into the encounter against her will, while telling her that she would be well paid for her time.

It is claimed that United keeper De Gea was the person who called Torbe to arrange the meeting, with the woman reporting that they kept in touch afterwards in an effort to keep her quiet. De Gea is also said to have tried to arrange another encounter with five United players, but there is no proof that this meeting ever took place.

De Gea is also said to be mentioned in another piece of testimony in which a minor claimed to have been raped by Torbe, claiming that the incident was filmed so that De Gea and some Athletic Bilbao players could watch.

This is not some wild accusation by a crazy woman but mentioned IN COURT in an ongoing case. It doesn't look good. JM will need to look for another keeper.
