I recommend u to try the seremban outlet and also the pj outlet (the oldest A&W in malaysia) yes it haven't tear down yet.

during the late 80s, where fast food where you had other choices like Grandy's and White Castle, which is better and cheaper. Price very competitive.
last time a Connie Dog set cost as much as a KFC snack plate.

2 weeks ago, had a root beer float, and their signature was their mug are stored in the freezer so it will be cold for longer time. They no longer do it.

Sometimes I eat at Petronas Shah Alam one, the menu is reallllllllyyyy small. The food portion is not enough, feel like need topup Mozza burger or another serving lol

The problem is not their recipe ... A&W used to serve good waffle, fried chicken, curly fries, hot dog and root beer. But the quality is not there anymore..

The problem is the person that is managing the franchise. Bad management ... They pay some of their creditors with the company's shity shares which worth nothing ... Their financial record was a mess.. About 10 years ago when I wan engaged in some of their financial related work.. Not sure their financial situation now ...

Well, they are still standing. Burger King came & went, came again & looks like going again. White Castle no more, Grandy's no more, MOS no more, Carl's too expensive.

PJ padang outlet still operating & serves root beer with mug. I only ever go there for the root beer, conie & waffle.

A&w fish is quite ok but too thin slice. Their fried chicken was not bad actually but too bad, msian mindset felt its not worth paying, rather go KFC. The coney dog fools everybody with the mexican sauce but the dog is just a cheap dog fr supermarket. 1801 hotdog is better , im not sayinf its good but slightly better.
