Hi,

May I ask if an employee resign from a firm, does the employer need to inform EPF?
I know it's required for IRD but not sure for EPF, silent on the website.

You just "delete" the name of employee on the form.

Basically you need to do nothing, you are out from company A on April, by end of May company A shall be bank in your and their contribution for April.
Once you join company B, company B will start to pay to EPF.

Are you the employee, or employer (HRD)?

If you are employee, you no need to do anything... your HRD will do it.

If you are HRD, then i suggest you to contact EPF, and ask them for the process. (Actually, if you are in HR, you should already know the process.... else, you need to ask your HR Manager).

I'm actually setting up a sdn bhd, so doing some fact finding. I guess I'll call EPF to inquire. I believe on the form there's a symbol you can add in to mark the employee has resigned.
