Worked at Mazars SG before.

All firms are the same. It boils down to the engagement and your luck.

Oic.. I got the offer from Mazars KL.. What firm are you at now? smile.gif

I have a friend working in ch. he had like 2-3 weeks of study leave for his CPA exams. Benefits wise he said traveling claims more than the average firms but no OT claim but I think this is normal for large tier firms. Lucky you I applied for ch as audit associate few months ago but I was rejected because they didn't want fresh grads at that time.
*
hmm ya I got it quite fast smile.gif
You are fresh grad ? Good luck on your career:)

Hi, Jane! Do you mind to tell me the interview process of CH and Mazars? How long did they reply you after you send them CV?
Did they ask you technical question?

I am applying audit associate position as well..

So, what firm did you choose at last? smile.gif

Thanks!
*
Sorry for the late reply.
I got their reply on the 2nd day after I applied.
There will be phone interview first and then only they call u up for interview after you been selected. They will tell you the process will be around 1 week. I got their call within that period.
No any technical questions for both firm. Is just they wanted to understand about you.
Mazars interview will be easier than CH.
You will get this detail stated in their email to u

I chose CH smile.gif
How your interview?

I was from Mazars KL . The culture at there is good.

both are good,
but horwath pay more i believe, not much tho.

Mazars have big client as well , UOA , ekovest, ppb group ( owned GSC) to name a few.

No idea abt horwath, but pretty sure horwath have bigger audit team than mazars
*

Thanks for your advice smile.gif
The first impression I got from Mazars was good also
Interviewer is really a nice lady smile.gif
Do you mind to share about the level of audit department post in Mazars?

Is it AA1>AA2>SA1>SA2 and so on?

Haha.. I see..when will you start? this month?

Just finished my ACCA exam last week. So, will start applying jobs from now.
But not sure there is still any vacancy for audit associate position at mid size firm since now is already June.  confused.gif
I scared I am too late to apply for a job sad.gif

The Mazars still not calling me yet, I will call them to follow up later because last few weeks busy preparing my ACCA exam.

May I know Crowe Horwath interview is one to one interview or group interview?
*
I am so sorry for the late reply ohmy.gif
Mazars is slow in reply. You need to call them and follow up.
CH is individual interview.

How your job right now? Where are you working at? smile.gif
