The management cut the water at the unit that im staying because my owner refuses
to settle the remaining maintenance fees. The thing is im paying the rent and the water
bill every month. This is not fair to me because im the one who staying here not the
owner. Everytime they cut the water need to inform the owner to settle this. Very tiring!

QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ May 17 2019, 11:56 AM) buy your own property then you are in 100% (or almost) control of the situation. Yea true but i cant afford yet to own a property at the moment.

QUOTE(kochin @ May 17 2019, 11:44 AM) ah! interesting! if you don't mind sharing, what attracted you to rent this place? surely there are lots (and i seriously mean lots) of other equivalent offer nearby or surrounding? if you intend to move out, am pretty sure you have solid ground as the tenancy agreement would probably have worded that landlord to cover maintenance fee for your uninterrupted enjoyment of your stay. since they violated you can probably move out with zero penalty. cheers! There are few things that attracted me to rent this place. Firstly, the rental is up to my budget and secondly, Empire city is nearer to my work place. What you said is true that i can move out with zero penalty but my concern is will the owner return my deposit? I really need that deposit so atleast i can cover a bit to rent new place. Cheers!
