They most probably bring their own cooks and kitchen utensils to setup own eateries. Otherwise, their own PRC people open restaurants/cafes to cater cheap PRC food. You could give it a try as they will get bored and want to try other eateries.

That was kinda exactly what I suspected as well. Since being raided, they would need a new base of operation. Bet they would pay the rent upfront with no qualms. Just wait and see.

Marriot Hotel is different from JW Marriot, well at least I hope they are not the same. Would not do the latter any justice located in the surrounding area.

It's actually like a chicken and egg situation, having little to no attraction, will not pull crowd in. Without steady in flow of crowd, retail businesses will find it hard to sustain.
Hearing this from you, I am rather surprised as I haven't visited the place in a while. A little improvisation, goes a long way in terms of attracting the crowd.
Please don't say that. Nobody wants any accidents to happen, especially when there are life's involved or at stake. They should cordon off those areas still under construction for peoples safety. Safety should be the utmost priority.
