AGROCHEMICAL company Hextar Global Bhd is exploring an entry into the retail scene through the acquisition of a stake in the yet-to-be-completed Empire City Damansara Mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, sources say.

It is understood that Hextar, in which businessman Datuk Ong Choo Meng has combined direct and indirect interests of 69.02%, could buy a “substantial stake” in the mall and that an announcement on the matter may be made soon.

There is, the residential portion is handled by Exsim. Mall itself by Empire & now their latest JV.

Target opening date for mall is in 2023. Mostly internal works for the mall is ongoing.

What made you book Mossaz yea?

rental yield and future capital appreciation bro , have faith in exism , and few big funding injection think is going to be good ?

Anyhow the mall is going to be completed and yea, with funding injection the confidence for completion is definitely there.

Dash highway will be also be ending somewhere here and if not mistaken the mall is proposed to have shuttle to the nearest MRT station; hence, Mossaz is a good choice at this given time due to proximity to the mall as well.

How is current rental demand there?

exsim provide 6% GRR (1.5k) , if i take my loft , halo sunday as referrence major rental fetch arnd 1k-1.3k

but think only mossaz got facility , others block think just pure room , so if mossaz can fetch another 20-30% higher yield should b reasonable i guess

Had done my booking too with nice facing bukit, with GRR package, really hope everything goes well and stunning like how the concept is shared 😅

Hi bro . i not taking profit sharing nor GRR , i try manage myself see see . as GRR need to wait 4 months only commerce and another 3 months only receive the first payment .... i think in the meantime i oledi rent out and start receiving rental liao i guess ,

btw , so happy you onboard d , wish to gather more owner to share more info

Basically it's sharing average profit among all the owner who goes with the package

Went to Empire City at midnight and realised no car park available. All fully occupied. Certain car even park illegally outside parking lot. Wonder have so many people staying there? Or those people come to lepak at night?
