Hello guys, i just bought ON Gold 100% Whey protein double rich chocolate but when I blend it with water. The taste seemed to be tasteless compare to the one I drink previously which is MuscleTech Performance Series Whey..

Anyone knew how to detect is it genuine product? I bought two 4lbs one @ RM460

The blenders bottle that I bought from the shop seemed to be leaking too. Not sure is it because the one I took is display unit due to out of stock.

RM460 is more than enough to get 10lbs very bro, even GNC is selling RM389 for 5lb. I did bought ON When before, it is the most tasteless protein I ever had. I guess tasteless is normal for ON whey. But RM460 is definitely big no.

or do u really expect it to taste like some rich chocolate milk?

I'm adding about 8-10oz and the taste also like tasteless meanwhile muscle tech I'm adding until 16oz and still taste very sweet..

Aaaw another typo, should be 5lbs So sorry for the wrong information.

Here's the picture of the manufacture and expiry date. Is it standard to have it printed on the bottom? and I found out that it did not come with any distributor sticker.

By the way,I tried to scanned both barcode and QR code and it works eventually..

I tried with 6oz today and the taste is quite okay but not great like muscletech just feel like a little bit weird

ON Whey's taste is slightly bland. That is normal. Unlike muscletech where they put in tonnes of sugar to get a much better taste.

^This I agree. ON Whey doesn't taste great compared to other brands which I tried (Dymatize, BSN). But it's fine with me. I dont like sweet stuff.

Anyway, I think it's authentic since you successfully scaned the barcode and the QR as well.. Unless those can be fake too?

I don't know if it is only me, eventually I'm leaning towards tasteless protein because I take it daily, the tastier it is, the sooner I get bored with it.

Me too. I find that sweet/tasty protein disgusting. Prefer bland taste.

Actually personally I do prefer blend taste as muscletech is quite sweet for me also.

The problem is I just worried to get fake product from my local store because muscletech previously I bought from GNC (F**king Overprice )

The blenders bottle that I bought from the store also have leaking water problem that's raise my suspicious on the fake protein powder as well

From my experience, Muscletech is one the of sweetest, followed by Dymatize while ON and Universal are on the tasteless end. Not to worry.

musletech is way sweeter than ON. at least from my experience. I feel its much more on the chalky side.
