There was a game demo?!

I'm more looking forward to what Mass Effect might be(BioWare FTW), everytime I hear BioShock it makes me think BioWare lol...

The graphics doesn't seem that awesome, especially the little sisters.

EDIT: Oh are some of these the PC version screenshots?

Damn. Honestly this game has me more intrigued than Lost Planet. The whole concept of using your environment to help you get past the obstacles makes it a wee bit different than just to run shoot kill...

Hey did i put up the youtube vids properly or what??, my connection pretty slow..

I don't know..this reminds me too much of Deus Ex 2..blurry graphics, over the top bloom and small levels

Hey guys an update for you guys following this game.....it unfortunatley will not make it for the June release window...instead it will be released in August of 2007.

Sorry if this is obvious, but does bioshock have any relation to System Shock? Maybe same production crew or something?

Well yes it is considered by many to be a "spiritual" successor to the game system shock. But instead of it being in the future on a space station it takes place deep underwater.

Also there are some in the bioshock development team woked on system shock.

But other than that Bioshock is a game on its own...

Awesome. Can't wait for it. Wonder if it'll have the RPG elements from SS 2 in it.

The video was actually pretty damn good, now i really want to buy the game. Initially i wasn't attract to its art direction and gameplay but now, i changed my mind.
The killing in game has the 'oommppphh' satisfaction!

Thanks for merginig this thread ... was loking all over for it. Yea .. the game is damn good, 1st i tot it was delayed or cancel .. but its coming out and willl be top on my list of games to BUY

Been updating this thread continuously with whatever i can find...but when the attention wained..i decided to give it a rest for a while...

So heres some information about Bioshock's retail strategy..

LIMITED EDITION will come with a Big Daddy figurine.

BIOSHOCK will not have multiplayer

BIOSHOCK is released exclusively for the XBox 360

So the LE Big Daddy Figurine? No little girl figurine for it to protect? Looking forward to this game too...
