If you're looking for a new Macbook Air 13" and don't mind the 4gigs of RAM, buy your MBA from an authorized reseller (Machines, Harvey Norman, Maccity) etc. rather than from apple store online. Why you ask? Price of MBA 13" on Apple store - RM 4,199.00Price of MBA 11" at Authorized resellers - RM 3,799.00Price of MBA 13" at Authorized resellers - RM 3,799.00Don't ask me why 11" and 13" are the same price. Only difference for the 13" model is, the RM3799 ones come with 4 gigs of RAM compared to the RM4199 ones which are equipped with 8 gigs. So if you're in the market for entry level macbooks, this is a good time to go for it. Links: http://www.apple.com/my/shop/buy-mac/macbook-airhttps://machines.com.my/collections/macbook-air

QUOTE(alwiser @ Apr 26 2016, 04:28 PM) Get the 4GB extra RAM for RM400, that's cheap. I think so too. But some people who still want a mac and doesn't want to spend more than 4k on a laptop, they can still get it at a very good price.

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Apr 26 2016, 05:05 PM) But right now. Apple has standardized that MBA is of a minimum of 8gigs of RAM from the base model. 3799 for a 4gig one doesn't justify its price. Look up the specs on Apple's website before buying. That's correct. And hence my surprise when I walked into Machines store and saw 11" and 13" being sold at the same price. But if 4 GB of RAM is sufficient for what you want out of a laptop, then you can save RM400 by getting it from an authorized reseller.

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Apr 26 2016, 07:05 PM) Hahaha. I can tell you 4gigs of RAM isn't even enough to keep 4 tabs open in chrome. You're gonna reload the page for days 😂😂😂 That's why I have 8.

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Apr 28 2016, 04:26 PM) dudes, 128gb vs 256gb, which one should i take? is 128GB enough nowadays? you know, with the updates & other usages will definitely consume more spaces later on right? Depends on what you wanna do. Nowadays, we stream almost all of our media (spotify, iflix, netflix, other websites). Apart from that, softwares like photoshop, final cut pro, etc. will take the most of your space. If you just use it for browsing, doc work, and stuff, 128 is enough. If you can afford 256, then go ahead with that. You never have to worry about space.
