5. 'Bulk orders' is defined as a bulk buy of something. The stock isn't yet in the would be seller's hands. If you have a lot of something to sell, then its not a bulk order, and your thread probably belongs in Garage Sales.

i am not follow the rules ?
give me 1 reason why simply move my thread

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=384240&hl= (sata&ide adapter)

other forumers like moderno, vcool, ngbh. how about them ? they doing the right thing? they put in bulk order, but they also have ready stock. very unfair.

Haha how cute. Simply adding a "BULK ORDER LIST : (2-3 people to complete the bulk, haha)" after it got moved away from the Bulk forum doesn't automatically convert your sales topic into a bulk sale.

If you want to change things as you like, I'll do so too. No new topics are allowed in Bulk Orders and no topics are to be moved back inside until the mess is cleared up.

Dude, I don't have time to "want play" with you. Find someone else or play with yourself.

There's nothing you can do now. Please wait while the Bulk Order section is revamped.

He wanted to let people know the reason of their threads being moved out from bulk order, and discuss in this thread if there's any doubt.

Nothing really related to you IMHO smile.gif

my opinion on bulk:

we are gathering a lot of forumer who interested in certain product and buying in bulk so that we are getting cheaper price from supplier...it means that the stock isn't in our hand...waiting to be shipped when the bulk is closed...
~that is the normal way we think about BULK~

how about i buy one product eg: 8800GTX in bulk up front...it means that i order the things first...confirm price with supplier and pay all the ordered item first then my supplier ship the item. eventhough its high risk...but i know that everyone would interested to have it ASAP and it would be like pisang goreng when i offer a good price at a good time...when the items is in my hand..then i open the topic....

is it still cosidered as bulk?? for me..YES...coz i buy it in bulk.. so i deserved to open a topic in BULK THREAD...eventhough the stock in hand...

and how about a twist..i buy this item in blanket order..it means that..i buy 50 8800GTX but i ask my supplier to ship it 10 pcs per shipment and before every shipment..i make a payment up front and double check the latest price...so every shipment MAY make me paying less....but still i buy it in bulk order that considered as blanket order....and open bulk topic when stock in hand to avoid FFK the buyer....so that i dont give lame excuse like "dont have stock la...", "stock doesn't arrived yet la..." and a lot more.....and then how??

is it bulk order???YES it is....

+just my opinion+

It's not actually
Compare the height of all the lines combined and not the number of lines
Cause some smaller fonts will take up less space

Well, what is this all about... kind of blur blur because TS have deleted some post.tongue.gif

If the seller got stocks ready in his/her hands it also can be categorized as BULK ORDER because he/she selling in larger quantity and bear those bleady responsible to make people buy in lower price.
Please correct me if I am wrong

As no consensus could be agreed upon, Bulk Orders is now reopened. If you had a topic that you would like moved back inside, please bring it to a moderator's attention (e.g. by reporting the topic).

Haih...which thread is it?

I don't get whats the big deal, selling under Garage Sales instead of Bulks...which is where it belongs in the first place

Garage Sales is for new and used stuff as well, it never was for used only

Why do you have the misinterpration that items sold in garage sales are used or 2nd hand items?

Garage sales is where you sell products that don't require an order made before hand. It can either be new or used, but they are certainly available or available with a single confirmation or an order of 1 piece.

A lot of handphones sellers in GarageSales doesnt keep stock at all too. They list, offer and get it from dealer when sale is confirmed only then passed/COD to the buyer. Should they be included into BULK too? no!

And I see no problem with their sales in GS too. I believe most people here see your sales are appropriate in GS, why bother to argue abt it shud be in bulk subforum, unless you have proof that you are doing bulk order. And make sure you know what is the real meaning/purpose of bulk order.

I PMed you purely out of courtesy and this is the kind of respect I get in return. No action has been taken on your threads yet. Why are you making such a big fuss?

Will you die if your threads are moved to Garage Sales? Will you get less customers? Don't forget you are trading here for FREE and I am not being paid to keep the forum in order. Don't piss on the people who are holding you up on that throne, ok?

Its very obvious that there are quite a number of your sales thread which are not in any way a Bulk Order and therefore do not belong in the Bulk Order section. If you continue to open threads in the Bulk section when in face you are selling it (as opposed to ordering it for a cheaper price), then we might not be so nice and just remove your thread for persistent infringement of the rules.

That's true about handphone sellers in LYN but honestly, they can't afford to have ready stocks as handphone prices keep on changing everyday, it will be a disaster if they have ready stocks unless, of course, they're a distributor for a particular brand. Handphone sales IMHO should be under garage sales because bulk sales is not about having ready stocks or not, it should be more like those display cards on sale under the bulk section with a minimum order quantity of how many units, expected arrival time, blah, blah, blah ....... I guess those threads along the lines are considered bulk sales.

The threadstarter is probably right to say that moderno's thread shouldn't be under the bulk section, for example this thread here, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...l=cooler+master because it's clearly more like it should be under garage sales because when you order in bulk from suppliers and resell them, that's not considered as bulk sales as opposed to gathering a certain number of buyers interested in a particular product and place the order with the supplier for a special price (bulk purchasing). I guess it's time to review the terms and conditions for the bulk section as sometimes the things that I wanna buy, I thought I could find under garage sales but instead, I managed to find them under the bulk section and worst of all, those threads are not considered as bulk sales. rclxub.gif

Anyway, zhen^wei, you can always PM a mod if you're unhappy with anything, I'm sure Altie shifted your thread for a reason, you can always double check with him for the details. Lets not turn this place into a flame fest.
