So the thing is like this, last month i start to add a head of garlic into my rice cooker as my meal, ya, almost everyday of the month, but hell, my menstruation delays 30 days already for the first time. Is this because of the garlic? So sad if it is, i love garlic. And any ways to solve my current problem? Boil Red dates with eggs and ginger as breakfast? (What i googled)

how old are you? are you under stress? whats ur current BMI?

its normal to miss your period every now and then. but if its too often, there might be a serious underlying cause to it

But before this, i went to pharmacist, they introduce me use contraceptive pill diane 35 (i think is 35) to solve my pimple problem, but.. I ate for like three months then stop one month and starts again for a few months. Stop again after face become better. But now pimples start coming out again. Hmmm. I hope i am still can adjust everythg bck to normal now. (Start to fear already)

The pill you're taking controls your hormone level, if that helped....it means your pimples outbreak is due to hormone level. Those pills doesn't sound like a good solution to your pimples. That may be the cause of your period delay, do visit & confirm with the pharmacist that sold you those pills.

Because another reason for period delay is cyst. This is a nightmare if goes out of control.

The pills is the cause lol, you can try other alternatives to heal pimple rather than taking pills to control hormonal level as pills are just short term.

Obviously Diane35 is the root cause of this. It's hormones pill. And what affects menstrual cycle? Hormones! Duh.

Garlic is good for our body. Take more garlic.

The last time I went on Diane35 for pimples, I had period for more than 3 weeks non stop. Gynae say takes some time for the body to adjust to it.

Anyways, Diane35 didn't solve my pimple problem. It didn't solve a lot of my friend's pimple problem either. Most of them come back after they stop. Now I'm on accutane for my pimples.

Get off Diane35, take care of your body, reduce stress as much as possible. See a proper gynae. Don't see a pharmacist.

Yea suck big time. But had no choice then because of an ovarian cyst. So had to go on the pill.
Pimples went haywire since then and tried all sorts for 2 years before I decided to go on accutane now. sad.gif

Tamanu oil are pretty well known for anti acne, problem is not many people can stand the smell of it. But good seed oils should absorb into your skin really quick without leaving greasy feeling, can't say the same for mineral based oils though.

Oily skin & clogged pores ka.......my African black soap should be able to solve that one. But I don't have any with me now, or else could let you try.

Diane35 is a steroid compound called cyproterone acetate. If used alone in women, cyproterone acetate leads to menstrual cycle disturbances which are avoided when combined with ethinyl estradiol. When DIANE-35 is administered in a cyclic manner it has the added effect of preventing ovulation and possible conception.

I've tried african black soap before.

I don't really like oil based products though.

Yea lor. What to do. Proactiv also tried before. Avoid dairy products also tried before. Facial, laser, antibiotics from dermatologist. I change my pillow cases every week or so. I hardly eat oily and spicy stuffs. I don't drink, I don't smoke.

The only things would probably be exercising more (then again some say sweating too much will clog pores also) and sleeping earlier, but I do get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. And avoiding the sun as much as possible, I love the sun lol. But I do use sunscreen.

Wah, so rajin lol. Complete your accutane first le. I've seen some really positive result from it but also hear lotsa nasty results at the same time.

Let me register my African black soap with our MoH first, once I've bring them in already, will let you try a bit for your oily, acne, blackheads & whiteheads if accutane didn't work on you. It worked to reduce the oils on my face & few others too, I'm collecting testimonials.

Hm. I would say it's moderate. Not that bad these days. But bad enough for people who has not seen me in a while to go "omg what happen to your skin?!" sad.gif

So even if it's not very bad but it still affects me. And I notice the scars are getting worse but I can't address that issue until the acne is cured. Was thinking better do it while I still not that old yet.

Gynae will most likely give you birth control pills which is diane35. Accutane need to be prescribed by a dermatologist. It's more expensive than diane35 and much more harmful. Just google the side effects. smile.gif
