Plan to buy Axia manual for daughter in a few months.
Have not decided between E or G .. seems like $8K is a hugh jump.
What do you guys think ?

meanwhile, 3 quick questions.
A. Autolock (the doors automatically lock when you step brake or hit certain speed) as a security feature. Where can install and also will it void warranty ?

B. Lightened Crank Pulley (e.g. Arospeed) for Axia. Anyone consider this over
the Potent Booster for faster acceleration ?

C. UR bars - after the front strut and rear antiroll bar, which would be the next
bar to install and why ?

Cheers.

a ) any acc shop have, plug n play

b ) depends on ur budget, why not try the pb out ( removable easily ) , and see if its good enough to impress u

c ) get both install first.. who knw u might think its good enough, so dont worry too much  thumbsup.gif

Thanks for your reply Sh@rty,

a) what product do you carry for Autolock ?
b) am wondering if anyone here has or intend to try LCP as is is rather popular for other car models
c) what other UR bars you have installed on Axias apart from AR16-501 & TW2-3082

IF I get the E, then here's the mod list

1. lcp
2. filter
3. bars
4. revcounter

5. autolock
6. alarm
7. centrallock
8. camera

9. rims
10. soundproofing
11. mat
12. visor
13. audio

if G, then 1,2,3,5,8,10,11,12 .. no springs, bigger wheels etc stock will do with 66hp smile.gif
did i miss anything ?

is there any discount guys to get axia ? any promotion recently ?

If getting the E or G specs, do consider not asking for any freebies
cos their commission only a few hundred. They also need to cari makan.

Depends on your budget n wallet

If performance = air filter, throttle controller, extractor

If handling = 15" rims with 195/50 or 195/55 performance tyres like Michelin PS3, UR front and rear anti roll bars, sports spring

If looks = DRL at front lights and fog lights, bodykit, back tail lamp to L shape like my signature

ICE not sure because I think ICE is a waste of money tongue.gif
*
The intake and exhaust will be interesting to map out together for the performance. But with a 1 liter replacement, not expecting anything significant unless go for forced induction.
I also think ICE is an acquired taste, looks too wink.gif

Suggest we stick to km/liter or liter/100km when we discuss fuel consumption. Else when we look back at previous postings km/ringgit.. need to track price of petrol at that time ?

I try to help as much as I can.

UR bar go for front strut and arb < stage 1
rear strut and front arb < stage 2
fender and room bar < stage 3
all the other undercarriage member brace / rear front uppper ( c pillar ) can do last ( this will really stiffen up your car )

I've installed all 12 bars, comfort gone but car is rock solid when cruising

Hi Andrew
Before and after Stage 1 bars, how did yr handling characteristics change ? Cheers

when I first installed UR I did the front and rear strut and rear arb together with sport spring.
is the front strut will make your steering lighter and easier to maneuver while cutting in and out.
The rear arb makes cornering that much tighter, you won't really feel the car is throwing out.

*
Thanks Andrew. I'm trying to fix the understeer characteristics hence good to hear from you the rear arb really helps.

However the theory is the front arb should not be installed for cars that understeer. Will check w UR later. Cheers

Any idea how much should i insured my 2015 axia advance hmm.gif Current market value will be rm34k something. But my loan balance still got about rm43k something. Should i insured it based on current market value or based on my current balance of hire purchase loan?
*
Insurance will not pay you more than vehicle market value even if you over insure. To cover existing loan is a different type of insurance

buy yourself a magician obd2 reader about rm 139, plug it in the obd2 port just simple as that. plug and play only. i get it  from kepong, there is a row of shop behind the public bank. find pitassio bakery, an auto accessories beside it. the reader can read 1) rpm 2) water temperature 3) battery voltage, 4) speed  5) etc......

hi. i am considering to buy either myvi or axia.. i read some comments about axia rattling while driving at certain speed. can any axia owner respond on this issue?

plus, it will be great if somebody can help me compare both model..

i stay in seremban, plan to work and study in kl next month. will travel almost 7 days a week to work and to attend classes.. tq
*
No rattling on my Axia after 1,000KM. Feels light and underpower on NS highway above speed limit else it's fine.
Size is almost similar hence you will find the Myvi more powerful and stable (slightly). If budget permits, always go for higher displacement for long term highway travel.

My old car that has EPS did`t react like that. Need to push the steering too hard and SE Axian also did`t have grip leather then it will make not really enjoy full drive.

Praying hard to buy this stuff later;

Hi, need help here. I want to order AXIA E but the waiting time is 3months above..... Do you know where can I find one faster?
*
the waiting period for E is above 6 months now. My salesman no choice write appeal letter got mine in 5 months cos he indicated no problem when I successfully bid for new JPJ number during 2nd month and the number only valid for 3 months.
