Although I am not a Newbie, but I am still on the way of learning...
Frankly speaking, I felt that the more I shoot now, the more I felt that I still lack of something in my photos. Thats mean I still need a lot of improvement and creativity inside.

So, portraiture for me is you always need to keep on learning, trying, creating, changing and improving your skill, no wonder you are Newbie or Pro. Then, I called myself a "Learner"... laugh.gif

Hope you all enjoy you photography life... thumbup.gif

tai lou, can i ask you did u tune ur in-camera WB? or PS after shooting? use bounce flash or diffuser?

your lighting and color really different(very very nice) and this is a public event, i am wonder how you can shoot differently from others? can you share some tips here?

Oh... sorry for late reply... sweat.gif
For J-Style shots, most of the pics are shot without flash. Just to remember that better use available light rather than ur flash light, if possible... smile.gif
I will did some post processing for the pic, just depends on what I felt upon the pic... tongue.gif
I used auto WB or tungsten, just depends on where i shot...
hmm... in order to get some diffrent composition, just try to use different focal length and always walk here and there to find out some nice and funny angle...
Just my 2 cents...

kaikai, your shots makes my heart pounds. mostly because of the gorgeous girls in the shots (have to admit to that) but also because of the rather unique approach you had taken in creating those shots. would like to ask you if you already have a rough idea what you want in the end photo when you are trying to take the photo? or do you just shot like crazy and then sit in front of the monitor and tinker with what you can do with the photos? just curious as to how you go about creating those shots.

Great shots. Much to learn from you.

Sham.
Thanks...
Actually I hv a guideline for what I need in my mind before the photoshooting.
During the shooting time, I ll try to look for some nice spots which can match with the model's character & clothe, then start my shoot. I like to capture the different style/expression of model, and play around different feel also. All depends on my mood that day, haha... tongue.gif
After come to post processing, I ll try to edit according to the feel of the picture given to me.

Thats my 2 cents...
Enjoy ur shooting...
