You can ask for the answers or change the answers (reasonably) after you have been verified on the call. Petrol, yes they want to know which brand you usually pump. Sometimes they even ask for last transaction, this one really cannot answer, as I have many cards.

I don't think financial institutions ever delete records. But they might disable login etc. In your case, you will just need to lodge a report with them and wait for them to do it. CAll them again if you have to. Go to service centers and officially file complain, etc.
