Yea. I thought they would just reject outright instead of downgrading it. 😆

i have two gold cards with them now. instead of double the credit limit, i would prefer an upgrade for just 1 card. wonder what kind of genius are working in their back-office.

they're a conservative bunch. if i were you, i'd just apply for another credit card from another company. you would probably be treated better as well. besides that, as shared by other forumners, when you owe them oustanding, they call and sms you a lot.

thanks to their so called "security". anyway, i switched CC and never faced such issues coz their limits are higher.

What card is this? Credit limit of RM2k? are you serious? your income per month is like RM1.5k/month is it?

i say cancel the card and apply from another bank. what use is rm2k credit limit on a credit card?

AEON is known to be very very conservative. no harm applying from other banks as well. they'll definitely be able to give you a higher credit limit compared to AEON.
