my apologies if this has already been posted before, am new to this thread.
Is it possible to do online payment for Tenaga bill using the Aeon credit service webpage? The only option in the drop down box for utilities there is for Syabas. What about other bills?

Similar issue happen to me as well. I think the problem is UOB not posonline. Already tried to call UOB cs many times but no one answer the call! vmad.gif

i called UOB side today and they threw the ball back to posonline. They say they already paid posonline and its their job to sent the money to aeon. They provided me an transaction ID for posonline side to check. As usual pos only handle this kind of cases via email. So i had to email them the info and waiti somemore for an answer. I dont think will come so quick.

I notice one thing tho. On uob side, alto i made the transaction on 1st june, it was only posted on 4th which is Saturday. Assuming they take 3-4 days to process and dont work on weekends. I think most likely it might appear on AEON maybe tomoro or the day after that probably. Its not usual that UOB system goes into snail mode.... especially on month end. Last time they had other issues before like with cashback...

okay so i finally found out what are the RM1.24 for, its a 1% charges for foreign currency conversion.

but its funny that the charges appear only after a few days of using the card, so if you use the card at some oversea website like ebay amazon or taobao, the amount that you see from your transaction history 2-3days after using is not the exact amount , the amount that you need to pay will appear later on which mean the amount will change again.

Like you spend USD 1 with the Card, 3days later you will see RM4.20 in ur history but thats not what you need to pay, wait for another few days only they will add in the 1% to the amount. lol

needa boicott aeon card on oversea or oversea website transaction

It's just false alarm like what you have posted in UOB thread. Honestly, I hardly see any maintenance downtime for UOB.

rate i am not sure, cause everyday also different hard to check bank by bank.

But i usually use Alliance for oversea transaction, not bad their conversion rate even after surcharge i am still happy with their rate most of the time. and their statement is stable, you pay what you see only. the only down side is that their reward point is useless, nothing interesting to redeem from the catalogue.

But i heard ppl saying that using UOB vox even oversea website transaction also got rebate, maybe that one more worth it.

My overseas transactions are never like this before. My guess is, due to some miscalculation earlier. Previously, it happened to some of the forumers but for their case, they refunded the extra amount charged.

Thanks for your action! Just check this morning the payment still not appear in Aeon portal. vmad.gif
Shall we report this issue to BNM concurrently so that they can take it seriously?

I can understand your anxiousness on your funds transferred but not appearing on AEON's end. console.gif

I'm just worried that if you escalate to BNM too soon, that will create too much pressure on Posonline. Don't know whether they will continue their payment service to AEON or not in the future.

Perhaps let Posonline sort it out and see how first? Don't get me wrong, you have every right to your hard-earned money and if Posonline can't deliver, you definitely should escalate it further later on.

just received the call from CS asking me what card I would like to convert... I asked her to call back after lunch.

now headache what card I would like to convert. after go through the AEON website, I found that the AEON classic series card is same as AEON Gold card but just without the free PPL feature.

guess I will take the AEON Gold Visa because I more prefer cash back compare to AEON voucher. haha

For me I will paid my AEON bill with posonline about 10days earlier before the due date so that I have more time margin to post on AEON before the payment due date.

hope posonline have no problem on continue the payment and we can continue to get the cashback! thumbup.gif

i dont recommend u do this.... technically paying credit with credit is wrong. so if u do this posonline might decide to stop the service payment to aeon.
