For bibir better use vaseline
For face, moisturiser. For butthurt, use KY Jelly. |

QUOTE(patrickbailey @ Apr 29 2016, 03:46 PM) I wouldn't use any petroleum jelly for face or any part of my body. Don't know how much toxic substance is inside petroleum products.QUOTE(noircharacter @ Apr 29 2016, 03:47 PM) Vaseline for mouth is very bad idea. Better use a real Shea butter lip balm. Don't know how much toxic substance is inside petroleum products. |

QUOTE(KB1 @ Apr 29 2016, 04:45 PM) my daughter is using a australia product...recomended by doctor... QV's ingredients; i can remember the brand with a big 'Q' ... QUOTE Aqua (water), paraffinum liquidum, glycerin, petrolatum, cetearyl alcohol, squalane, dimethicone, ceteth-20, stearic acid, laureth-3, glyceryl stearate, methylparaben, dichlorobenzyl alcohol. Other than the straightforward water....can't even understand the rest. Alcohol is the main factor that dries up skin & since water is first in the list means that it's the largest content. Do people read product labels? |

QUOTE(NightHeart @ Apr 29 2016, 05:18 PM) QV's ingredients; Cetearyl alcohol is Fatty alcohol. It's not drying...it's on many moisturiser list. It's not really alcohol. Other than the straightforward water....can't even understand the rest. Alcohol is the main factor that dries up skin & since water is first in the list means that it's the largest content. Do people read product labels? Yes, alcohol is drying... Fatty alcohol is moisturing. |

It is recommended you go for a food allergy test with your doctor to find out whether is it food or environmental factors which is causing your eczema.
I got very sick when I cut out many essential food and in the end I found that I was not allergic to any of them. My eczema was not improving. Only after the food allergy test that I found out that my skin condition was due to environmental factors. Need to moisturise the skin after bath and constantly applying lotion throughout the day. |

QUOTE(wu ming @ Jun 21 2016, 08:44 AM) It is recommended you go for a food allergy test with your doctor to find out whether is it food or environmental factors which is causing your eczema. This. It is important to identify the factor causing your eczema. If it's diet related, I would recommend you to take healthy & balanced meals on daily basis, breakfast is especially important. I can suggest some detoxification meals if you would like to know more. If it's environment factor, air-borne allergens such as dust mite may be the reason causing your eczema as they are all over the fabric surface, such as our pillow & bed sheets. For external application such as lotion, you can try Allano Hand & Body Lotion / Aloe Care. Hope the above helps |

QUOTE(cutepet @ Aug 23 2016, 10:34 AM) This Renew Lotion is from Melaleuca. Not sure if you heard of it but it is similar to Amway that sells through members only. Melaleuca range of household products and body wash, etc focus on natural plant based ingredients without the harsh chemicals typically found in the commercial product off the shelves, hence very suitable especially for ppl with sensitive or dry skins. Product pricing are reasonable. |
