This is old ram designed for usage for LGA 775 and LGA 1156 and LGA1155 socket motherboard that firstly introduced to DDR3 and only accept old series ram, older gen board doesn't accept new 1600mhz ddr3 ramstick, this ramstick I sell is 100% compatible for all types of ddr3 mobo.
