I will buy the Asus DSL-AC68U instead - modem+router together, less hassle, save electricity with 1 less device. Currently using the Asus DSL-N55U, very satisfied with it.

price is one reason, whether you can utilise its full functionality with Streamyx is another problem. If you get a cheap modem to pair with it, then the modem will become bottleneck. If you get a good modem/router like the DSL-AC68U to pair with it, then the AC5300 become redundant.
