Hi guys,

Appreciate if you can recommend some headphone options for my 11 year old girl. Just got her an iPod but the earbuds are not so suitable for her and I also think that headphones are better for kids (?). Perhaps a headphone that is compact, and cool looking for girls of her age...

Thanks in advance.

For earbud, check out the VE Monk or Tingo TG-38S.
May go for Koss KSC-75

If more budget,
eGrado, Beyerdynamic-DTX350M, Marshall Major

The eGrado is fine, but the other 2 are not cool looking for an 11-year old girl, especially the Marshall Major. laugh.gif

Oh heck, just take her shopping for new headphones. A red or blue Sony ZX310 looks nice, and sounds okay too, and it's freaking cheap at RM105.

Yes.. looking cool i guess quite important for them. Also quite true for the shopping part. However due to her busy shedule of school, tuition, activities, etc, wouldnt have much of luxury time shopping around and that brings me to another question, which shop got most brands/models to choose from, around PJ preferably?

Btw, was looking at Audio Technica (entry models) and skull candy as a starting point.

Audio Technica ES-7. That's a good one but also more expensive

Bring to Sony center KLCC. Get her one of those colourful h.ear headphones.

Then pray none of her friends borrow it. Never let anyone borrow it. Period.

Hmm... If cool looking is ur concern, I like how Audio technical Ax3/5 looks. But if sonic performance come in consideration, maybe u can have a look at Superlux. Evo is cool looking and bass pumping. But if for me I would go for 668b which have a good clarity.

Can consider Beat Solo 2. Great quality, medium size and quite comfy. And yeah, it's pretty cool smile.gif

Sale, USD90.

Made for kids headphones have a maximum volume cap, so they won't damage their ears accidentally. The most popular IEM with this function is the Ety Kids. Headphones made with this function include the Brainwavz Kidwavz. And also google "My Little Pony headphones." I'm not kidding!
