That is the battery temperature which is irrelevant to the hot feeling of the phone as it does not goes up high. What you feel that is hot is usually the cpu or screen or the modem when the signal is weak.

Have u ever understand the hold statement before comment? If you take out your phone from your pocket that is only keeping your phone and you found that the screen crack and you are certain that you did not hit on anything, how u feel?

thats the thing that make me wondering, and when I tell this to the service center the guy told me it happend to many user already. Anyway they still not giving free replacement.

I don't feel anything, common sense if crack = replace or get a new phone.

Unless you can prove the screen are defective then send in for claim with the proof. How to proof? Ask expert to examine it

Having this annoying persist notifications thingy currently. If say i get a WhatsApp message or a email etc when my phone is idle, it'll keep beeping(notification alert) every few mins until I react to it (acknowledge the message). Not sure if there's setting I changed recently.

Can advise on where to check?

Speaking about cases... I don't think all those MIL-STD-810-516.6 are created equal.

According to the standard. the device are to be dropped from a height of 4 feet onto 2 inch of plywood, on each of its 6 faces, 12 edges and 8 corners for a total of 26 drops. Then it will be inspected and determine if it still works. It doesn't say anything about cosmetic damage or cracked screens.

Tech21 I dunno lah but I think some case brands are bending the rule.

I've got the spigen neo-hybrid, spigen crystal shell and ringke fusion which all claims to beMIL-STD certified so I was curious and did an unscientific test last night.

I dropped my S7E with each of the case face down and edge screen down from just ~15cm onto my flat wooden table. I didn't wanna break my screen lah so don't dare to try higher

Judging from the sound of the impact.. both the spigen sounded ok at that height while the Ringke clearly sounded like the glass made contact with my table.

That's just ~15cm.
