I had successfully claim warranty on Note n S6e ( motherboard change) with Knox tripped
You must fully unroot phone n have device status back to official not custom
I don't know whether I was lucky ? According to my phone dealer they don't bother about knox tripped?
And I am not the only one who had reported successful claims.

There is at present no way to restore knox tripped

Beside warranty, kindly take noted the Knox will trip once root. Once Knox trip means permanent lost Knox required apps, for example Samsung Pay no longer work.

Yea I notice that too but I am not too fond of using Samsung Pay or Android pay.

It's just I worry the screen will become faulty or hardware faulty that the warranty void.

why do you want to root the device? custom roms?

Some xposed module and root apps.

Samsung Malaysia quite cincai regarding Knox not like other countries.
Some banking app will refuse to work (eg: PBebank), root cloak might works but yrmv.
Screen mirroring with SmartTV might act weird or doesnt work at all.
Screen mode might not working properly.
Losing Knox is a big lose for multi account gamer. There are some other multi account app but it has so many flaws.

This is once of the phone that i didn't root so far.
Based on the phone performance and good battery life, i don't see any other reason to root it.
Anyway, someone here already assist me with freezing some of the bloatwares plus the stupid ads.
Now i am happy with the phone without root.

I found out the glass of heart rate sensor really easy to scratch. I don't use it and only clean by micro fiber cloth.

I have disabled the bloatwares and etc, it kinda like stock nexus as I am using all google's app, even phone and contacts.

It's just still some root apps and functions I've missed, especially on heavy customization part.

Samsung Pay is coming out soon. Tripped Knox = no Samsung Pay.

More and more shops are fitting NFC those Visa Paywave terminal.

Hold down the volume down+power+home for 10 sec

hold vold down + power until u feel vibration. else, ur fon is just dieded. claim warranty.

Yes, actually the same. This is not big issue but I don't understand why Samsung use low quality material.
