I was introduced to this lawyer by a property agent when I wanted to buy a unit of apartment in Cheras. This fella is really a penipu twist story here and there.

He prepared the S&P and i met him to sign. I am being represented Hisham & Partners, he said he works there, and gave me his business card. He also said he represent the vendor too, but using different firm name ( Bahari & Bahari @ Jalan Yap Ah Shak) as he claimed he used to work there. He said he can do both work for me and vendor but firm name has to be different to avoid conflict of interests.

He said title transfer takes time which I knew and agreed so I waited for a few months . After a while I tried calling him but he never pick up my call. Hundreds of time. SMS also never reply. This was dragged for i dont know maybe 8-9 months if i remember correctly. I tried to korek around whats really happening so I went to see the vendor, he also said this lawyer did not respond to his calls / sms. Apparently this lawyer also represented the vendor (as purchaser then) in 2012 when his aunt gave the unit for free to him by love & affection. And then the vendor gave me the lawyer's business card, this time with a different name, A.R Effande & Partners. I am determined to korek more so i went to the his office (people there said dont know him), went to developer's office, land office, went to the lawyer's house (yes i did that but no one came to the door), and i found out that he never did the title transfer he said he did in 2012. This vendor really paid for nothing in 2012, also got conned by this lawyer.

So now after more than a year, the aunt who gave the house for free wanted the house back. This vendor cannot sell to me now. And he owes me the 10% and he pays me back by installment. All this wont happen if the lawyer really did his job and I could be the owner by now.

I just want to let other ppl know so that no one appoint him as lawyer anymore.

My mistake for not having someone with proper knowledge with me. I also stupid didnt do any research first.

And i also found out the lawyer is actually the vendor's neighbour. Lol
