 firefox is laggy

when i use my laptop in power saving mode , the firefox is lagging . However , when i use in high performance mode , no lagging issue ... but , when i use other browser like chrome , edge , opera , no lagging issue ecen when i use in power saving mode . What's wrong with ff?

*
Power saving mode turn off hardware acceleration. FF is set to use hardware acceleration by default. Try to set the FF to "Use Hardware Acceleration When Available."

i ticked the option , but i found that the condition is even worse when it's turned on . rclxub.gif

Then disable it laugh.gif

It must be something to do with Add-on. Probably you want to run FF in Safe Mode and try enable the Add-On one by one and find out which one is giving problem. sad.gif

Yes - based on experience, disabling unused / less frequently use addons would improve the performance and also the load time

Now try restart firefox in safe mode (add ons disabled).

I have similar situation on my laptop.
But now I leave in high performance mode.

firefox is memory hogger these recent years. so does chrome

i'm using opera as my main browser now

Edge is not stable sometimes , especially when the internet connection is slow...chrome is fast to launch , opera is kinda slow to launch , otherwise , opera also not bad
