I wanna give a special thanks to pltan75 and another fellow LYN member jimbooo (sorry forgot the spelling, or was it Jimwoo?)
Yesterday they very nice brought me into Falcon Lost incursion, wow that’s one of the toughest fight ever! Despite my low gear score (156 when I join in) they patiently play with me and of course I’m the one died the most. And after the raid finished, pltan75 even explain to me how the mechanism work there.
Now I got my gear score up a bit, 168 after some improvement. Can’t wait to gear up more to actually contribute in the raid. (Ye my main contribution last night was merely put down the healing box and non stop throwing smoke seeker mine)

BTW ChocChristy, I found the M1A you mentioned in DZ03 vendor, it requires a whooping 230k DZ fund + DZ level 75, don’t think I will get there anytime soon sweat.gif  BTW the high end gear vendor in operation base also selling 1 lvl203 M1A, but need 800+ Phoenix credit… doh.gif:
As for close combat update, I’m struggling between Liberator or Black Market AK, don’t know should go with high rpm (1k rpm for Liberator) or high dmg (10k+ dmg for AK).  Marksman rifle wise,  before I get a glimpse of M1A I might go for the Tenebrae, from vendor too.

Pltan and Ajimboo -- awesome fellas.
Ash (choc) -- one hell of a player.

The fastest way to gear up with vendor gear is to continually run Lexington Challenge Mode. 30 phoenix credits per run, and about 7-10 min per run, means that in an hour can get 180-210 Phoenix. Just keep on doing that until you can buy all the BoO vendor gear you want.

Don't worry about GS -- what's more important is the suitability of the gear for the task. If you're still gearing up, then look to be more of a support class for the group. DPS roles require the most gear to be useful, support roles are less gear intensive. Just stack Stam and Electronics and you'll be able to help the group a lot.

If you can't get 4pc Tactician yet, then aim to get around 40k SP. This way you can keep up buffs full time. Make sure you have the right talents as well e.g. Triage.

Can look for me Rantic88.

Will try to organize at least one CM clear once a week with the other veterans in this community. If we have free slot, we can bring one new person along for the ride.

btw, GS doesn't mean too much.

What the team needs is either:

1. Very high DPS -- can you headshot crit for 2million dmg with your sniper rifle? can you headshot crit with SMG for 200k? (with full buffs, pulse+smartcover).

OR

2. Maxed out tacticians set -- meaning you get to spell power cap of 45k during a fight.

Either (1) or (2), FL CM recommended is to have around min 60% damage mitigation through armor and around 80k HP (so that you don't get 1 shot by sniper or shotfun).

If you have any of the above, then you're ready for CM.

It's quite a gear check, FL CM. Needs all 4 players to be ready, gear wise. Then the tactic we can do it any which way.

Aaaah yes Ajimboo! Yes really appreciate him.

I can't touch challenging mode yet, usually ppl will kick me and I totally understand why.

Yeah the DZ blueprints are rather expensive unfortunately. The M1A in BoO is so so only, so you ain't missing much for now. Tenebrae isn't bad, but it isn't as good as well. You can try to farm Challenging mode for Lexington Event Center or Russian Consulate for possible M1A. But it's totally up to RNG. I do randomly do Lexington or Russian consullate every other day for fun. So you can join if you're on. So far after so many runs, I only saw 2 M1As from lexington and 1 from russian consulate.

For Liberator or Black Market AK. I would say Liberator if you're going for a tech build (though I would recommend Caduceus more if you manage to get it in the future).

AK hits hard and the RPM can be improved with extended mag with fire rate. Only downside to the AK is the random talents. You might get lucky and get decent rolls, or you get horrible luck and got shit talents for all the AKs you try to craft. I personally recommend the AK, but if you do not have time to play much or have much materials to spend, then perhaps Liberator with fixed talent might work for you. But if you do not bother with tech skills at all, maybe crafting Ak with random talents wouldn't make much of a difference either way.

I personally still use the AK i crafted with BOO blueprint(it has very good talents), and even use it over my MP5 (also good talents), because I rarely engage in close range and AK's accuracy and stability in mid range made sure that I get headshots more consistently.

Spending PC on set item blue prints might be a good idea. They help to boost you a lot in terms of stats and bonuses. If you do not yet have a good primary weapon that's at least 183 (AK/Liberator/marksman rifle), I think I would recommend you to grab 1 weapon bp first, then you get the 2 blueprints for the same gear set next.

If you're looking for a good marksman rifle BP, then the Custom M44 from the BoO vendor is very good. I have mine with good talents, and it's a nasty weapon. Managed to break the 2million dmg barrier with a headshot crit during a recent Falcon Lost run.

Everything else that Ash said is spot on.

I don't think I can clear CM FL for now as:

1) enemies are pretty imbalanced

2) my aim is very bad. But I still like playing shooting games though.

3) not so great gears yet

Just keep on collecting good gear; definitely FL HM once a week for a 214 piece.

With well tuned gear, it's possible to do CM with about 190-205GS.

More important is to have enough stam and armor mitigation so you can survive at least one shot from the mobs.

Most wipes in CM happen when players get 1 shot.

Aim for about 80k++ hitpoints, and a min of 60% damage mitigation through armor.

Aw... I bought the black market AK47, the recoil is like dancing gun. SO no choice need to do point shot (how you guys call it? tapping on the mouse instead of press it down all the way) and that defeat the purpose of high RPM edi...

The new Police M4 204GS from BoO is pretty sweet.

Vicious, Ferocious, Prepared.

An excellent weapon for PVE. Worth checking out if you don't have a good AR yet.

I'm going to buy it.
