The best way is to uninstall mt4, install back only if you have calmed down.

Or get off from your computer for few hours..
Or just get a cup of coffee and relax...

Fyi: i've been through this at a cost of 1 unit ps3 & 32" full hd tv destroyed due to frustration of losing couple of hundred in few revenge trades at 1 session (euro session).... now, i just go and make coffee after i closed a losing trade

How many trades have he executed & closed?
Is your account down by 50%?

P/s: i'm assuming that your investment is of substantial amount.... but if it's me, i'lll give him warning of 15%,15%, 10% &10% = 50% loss (half of the account)

I'm not siding anyone, but i think you know how forex market works.... but if he stopped responding to you, it's obviously he's at fault..

eurusd...
see if my setting can give you some idea..
you see that small small retrace (break and break) ... no good....
then again, eurusd is trading in range... it have been so since last year march..

frankly speaking..... not healthy..
he's predicting... i'm not sure what is his method, but that should stop since predicting can kill your account... (this is judging from those pending orders cancelled...)
(Other; opening multiple positions ie. 0.3 & 0.5 at the same price.... not sure of the intentions)

p/s: i am never a fan of pending order....


i hope he'll come forth and explain/settle things with you... that loss of 20% can still be recovered as other pairs are having nice moving trend..

Well it's easy to risk $100 for 3% (ie $3) per month.. but as account grow larger, % of growth will be slower..

That's why warren buffet average 20%+ throughout his career... so i read in the internet

But why you need people to manage your fund in the first place since you are doing pretty good.. diversification?

I'm not that good, but sure others are better than me.. i'm still learning...

Money management for me is subjective, some prefer pips lost/sacrificed some look into max money lost and i'm on the later one...

Different pairs move differently. 20pips sl on gbpusd might not be good enough on gbpjpy....

I can only say, the longer you trade... you'll be able to develop your own suitable money management skill...

Well for me, the first thing is not to pressure yourself on obtaining certain % per month. This will change your trading attitude/physiology.

I never set stop loss now. But i trade higher time frame, so i set a max amount of $ as loss for every trade(s)...if i reach that, i re-evaluate my trade(s)... if it's still no good... i close all...

Statistics said that 90% traders failed and quit trading.. only a few will manage to shine out.. the best thing to do is to put your money you can afford to lose in a regulated broker to start learning to trade...

It'll be a waste of time to do reading on illegality, might as well put that efforts to learn. I was like you few years ago and i found out that you can't be consistently profitable for the first few years.. risk is what making this world interesting.. taking risk in trading and learning forex is the best experience..
