I recently had went around looking for a new package (my current one expiring in 1 month).

Found out I had a postpaid account with Celcom outstanding.

To my surprise, it was dated back around 12-13 years ago. I had an outstanding of RM400+ from a number I've never used before, to a house address I've never stayed before.

If this is no accidents, means one of my ex-gf had used my IC to register a postpaid account against my will (and the phone shop guy must have cooperated..this is more than a decade ago so I'm sure the procedure wouldn't be as strict as right now)

I want to settle this outstanding but is there a way to have discounts from Celcom to settle this outstanding account? I went to the Celcom Cube @ Sunway Pyramid, they said either cannot/they don't have the power to decide on this.

So before I email/call Customer Service and had to wait a long period before they reply, I'd like to know from you fellows about this. If there's no way for this to be reduced, I'll pay in full lo..what to do. Just geram only having to pay for something I never used/knew about.

the new plan is for the new subscriber. old user no need to worry. because still got IBH. huhuhu. btw, is not like they totally remove the IBH. still can use IBH maaaa. langgan je laaa. Huhuhuuhuh

Maybe they don't use IBH anymore and change the name into Internet Larut Malam.   Both IBH and ILM same maaaa, user use it at midnight.

This new plan is for new user only. Existing user will not be affected. So don't worry meh

Celcom keep saying on Twitter that those on older plan (magic/turbo) can still get the free IBH and that the IBH is still available (instead of internet larut malam).
But I can't even find the option to buy it. When I ask, they don't even answer. What a mess.

I want to keep the sims alive for as low as rm 1 every 90 days. Is this do-able?

To be clear, yes i am being very cheap, coz i can't justify the high cost of keeping the sims alive for this long (1 year). The number wont even be used  for call/sms if ever.

I searched around for a few telco and their minimum top up and consumption is rm 5.

I've 2 Celcom prepaid now, and wondering which I should get rid first. Mainly a data-user, and I've been keeping the XPAX24 all this time because of the EXP2 option.

Should I keep the XPAX24 or Magic SIM? Any suggestion? 

Browsing fb will utilize internet plan first before free 10gb fb data. Only if you do not subscribe any daily; weekly or monthly internet plan or your internet data has finished, it will consume 10gb free fb data.

Today, many old xpax plan(s) user(s) received a message telling 'em that they'll be forced migrated to current Xpax plan.

Any news on this ?

On the day of migration, the validity is reset to 30 days.

However, accounts with extended validity subscription will be updated with original extended validity date within two (2) weeks.

I believe the forced migration is being done in stages starting with Xlite/Xmid, Xpax15, Blue, X2 and so on ... The ones having forced migration right now are the Xlite/Xmid ...

1. XOX not involved here only old xpax plans ..... but lets assume original validity until 1st July 2018.

2. If migration was done today 15 Jan 2017, validity is reset to 15 Feb 2017.  As per current xpax MIG tnc.

3. Within two weeks, the system will notify and revert back to original 1st July 2018.
