Not suitable for me! Celcom data connection too slow. I got both numbers also port out from them ady. 1 joining Maxis and another 1 joining Digi!

For 3G, obviously Celcom is better than later 2.
For 4G LTE, Digi goes toe to toe in East Malaysia with Celcom. Other area generally Celcom is wider.

I'd heard some complaints regarding unresolved poor network coverage in Meleka. Other than that, Celcom network quality is good enough for most consumer.

I find Celcom is muchhhhh better in Penang island and Kedah compare to Digi. Celcom 4G is fast, 3G i rarely use, but when i was using Digi 3G, the video still need buffering unless i change to Digi 4G network.

Talk about call quality, Celcom wins with no doubt. Digi always have drop call issue. With Celcom, i never drop call again and i can even receive whatsapp message in my apartment lift.

My fren who work at bayan baru area switched from celcom to digi few months ago. He said cannot tahan bcoz maximum only got one bar signal and forever drop call within Bayan Baru area. Now switched to Hotlink and happy with it.

Getting some feedbacks is helpful but not definitive.

Telco service in my area is seasonal. At times, Maxis was the best and then there are times where DiGi was like a rocket and then comes a time when Celcom trumps 'em all ..... Umobile was speed demon in my area a year ago but now feels sluggish ...

The best way to know if celcom is good for your need is to try with a prepaid for a month. Bring it to all your usual places and find out if it is up to your expectations.

U Mobile does have 2G and it's running on Maxis' 2G network but the contract is going to end soon (only insider knows when). It's very unlikely U Mobile will build their 2G network or even lease from other telco so it seems U Mobile will be 3G and 4G only carrier in the future.

who still wn 2G nowadays? better save the frequency to have faster 4G and 3G network

I thought whole of Penang is covered by 3G..
